Albert Bartlett 2020

Lovely result that :encouragement:

Latest Exhibition still 10-1 any race William Hill.

Charlie, was it you who put Latest Exhibition up at 66/1? A big big thank you my man for what is proving to be a brilliant AP bet if he can get to the Festival safe and fit. He looked great today :encouragement:

What an early shout LE was Charlie, hat well & truly tipped! Just envious that I didn’t jump on the 66/1 early doors. Did manage to cash out Midnight Run prior to the decs & reinvest on your lad at a boosted 13/1 with Laddies yesterday.

Echoe the Paul Nolan statements would love to see him have another festival winner been too long since Noble Prince obliged & he’s been unlucky to hit the crossbar with Disco twice in successive years. Wouldn’t be a more deserving winning trainer for the week & the stable staff bonus would be a massive boost.

Thank you, Charlie! Great suggestion all those months back and the reference to the Nolan video which I found straight after.

Shame was restricted to £7.50 ew when I placed the bet...

Have a nice (tiny) double with Abacadabras at big prices though.

Anyway, there could be lots of excited people off this board come Friday, Charlie! Well played, sir!

Quite right !! , Brilliant shout Charlie . :victorious:

Fury Road still any chance in the Albert Bartlett?

Possibly. Slightly longer trip on an undulating track may suit him.

Obviously Monkfish and Thyme Hill, in particular, still have excellent chances too! LE hasn’t won it yet!

Yes, good point TCH29 , a way to go yet , but even to get a run , a real buzz.

Fury Road still any chance in the Albert Bartlett?

Absolutely. Far from disgraced. They didn’t look to go much gallop at all today and 3m at a good clip around Cheltenham could see him in a much different light. The 20s that is now available is an over-reaction in my opinion and if I was looking at this race ‘fresh’ he’d look a nice little each way play.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. :applause:

If favs didn’t have such a terrible record in the race I’d be bullish! :witless:

Unbelievably he wasn't even made fav after winning a 2M6F Grade 1, when its the best Irish staying novice hurdle form.

In Britain the Tolworth over 2M4F is the only Grade 1 at mid-distances so far, and it was a close run match between The Cashel Man and Thyme Hill.

I was dissapointed in fury road yesterday, not completely turned off but he just found nothing, i thought at the very least he would get himself involved. Ill still keep the faith though and hope he improves from that run. My concern as always with him is he can gallop around on the bridle and look quality but then gets found out when they all kick on

The winner looks a serious nag and ill be backing him today for this as i only have thyme hill & fury road for this

Agree SW.. was very surprised how little his price moved. Down to connections I suppose. The dream is well and truly on!

Is it wishful thinking to hope that Asterion Forlonge’s performance today gives me more hope the The Big Getaway comes here? I’ve not got a bean on AF for any race and Shishkin for the Ballymore only. Fingers crossed the owners want a runner in each race.
