Was rushing out before, but wanted to add my thanks to charlie for initially alerting my attention to LE... not that often you back a 66/1 poke for Cheltenham (or me anyway) with a live chance!
I'll be saving my thankyou's for Charlie till it's won. or placed.![]()
Very wise. Kind words but I'm being praised like he's won the thing. It's easily the hardest of the 3 novice hurdles ante post and even if LE emerges as the main Irish challenge, their record in the AB is abysmal.
It's not the fact he may or may not win at this, still very early, stage, it's that we are ahead of the market.
Of course, each to their own, as to whether they feel grateful enough for that.

The video which I would probably not have seen (even though I watch many).
Was extremely useful and quite rare to have it stated fairly clearly what the plans/dreams were.
The punt was on the ability of the horse. The plan seemed quite clear, and the breeding looked very good.
And whilst Scooby may be proved right with his reading of Andy Dufresne's maiden win, he thought this one might be a handicapper
We will all get it wrong/or it'll go wrong, more often than we get it right/it'll go right in the long term.
That's why we're fucking about on here most of the time.
I think you'll find I thought he was a graded horse set to be masquerades as a handicapper. Hence my reasoning behind backing abacadbras.
Too clever for your own good then , ignoring the video comments
Yeh it's a good position to be in. He shaped like the further he goes the better so next stop DRF and hopefully he wins and get's to Cheltenham in one piece.
In other news, The Big Breakaway in entered up at Newbury over 2m4f on Wednesday. I am really looking forward to seeing him again. He did everything so effortlessly at Chepstow and I hope the Tizzards aim him here
Has anyone heard anything about Braid Blue? Finished second to Champagne Well at Cheltenham giving him 8 pounds which puts him close up to Thyme Hill on paper. Ran a lot over the summer winning nothing races but gaining plenty of experience and proving he stays 3 miles. Seems overpriced in the market at 50s.
