Albert Bartlett 2020

Must admit I thought his performance yesterday screamed Potato race but the consensus appears to be favouring Ballymore...

Albert all the way.

In a race I tend to avoid this time of year I really do like Thyme Hill. Performance looked like a step up would suit and the Ballymore is looking deeper and deeper with every passing week. Lots can change and PH did say it was weather dependent which puts me off slightly, but will have a think about it

He's as big a horse as I've trained, already a point-to-point winner and a real chaser in the making. He had a small setback after running in his second bumper but he's come back fine and won a bumper impressively by seven lengths at Punchestown on Saturday. He'll run next in a maiden hurdle. He keeps galloping and will like a trip and testing ground.

will be entered for both and i would imagine the only way he'd go ballymore is if it came up soft, anything close to decent ground and it'll be Albert all the way.

I'd share that view (not a backer) as I think there will be plenty of horses in the Ballymore who will possess greater speed than Thyme Hill. Thyme Hill looks a very good horse but I think his best chance will be the AB on good ground.

I really liked that performance from Thyme Hill.

Dickie Johnson kept hold on him longer than he can be known too, which I interpret as him thinking he had a LOT of horse under him still as they got to the bend. He kept "collecting" him to keep him with the others, perhaps so he didn't idle.

Looked to be running away at the line, in a slowly run race, where he could have been 'tapped for toe'.

That 16/1 is a good price IMHO

Maybe a long shot, but way Larquebuse finished in Mares today.....might be worth a dabble at 50s

Elliott said after she wants 3m and we know Cheverley like to win at festival, so might go here

Have had a nibble

had same thought myself and couldn't see a price.
but, i then had second thoughts as todays' race was a bit odd and she might get outpaced in an albert bartlett:p
but good luck, as it might pay off that one.

The Big Breakaway is out tomorrow at Chepstow.

Currently best price 33s for this.

Think he's going to hack up tomorrow :p

He might well do, and this is prob the race. But it's a real tough race for a 4yo

Was waiting for an entry on him. Took any race a while back boosted 27/1 with hills. Mark Howard book seem to suggest the trip would suit so fingers crossed for a good start.
