Aintree 2025 Day 2

Is the yellow clay quick enough for 2 miles? I’m not sure unless it was bottomless ground. The BA chase could be a corker this year!!

I think the quickest novice this season was The New Lion and he's being talked up for the Champion Hurdle. The Yellow Clay went close to matching TNL on the run in. Personally wouldn't be worried about TYC lacking in that department, he's quicker than he looks.

Kopeck de mee a cert for next years arkle then :applouse:

….i topped up on that 50-1 before it got chopped, surely one for this months Yankee :welcoming:

Then had a daft free bet Trixie; KDM 33-1 (Ark), Derryhassen (BANC) 25-1, JDV (Stay). 14-1

:angel::angel:

Played 3 in the Topham.

Excello 25/1
Mars Harper 25/1
Gentleman De Me 33/1

I did have 5 others on the shortlist (JDB, Blue Lord, Amirite, Grandeur D'Ame & Eldorado Allen) but can't back them all and the first two in that list were just a little too short for me from a price perspective.

Gentleman De Mee you beautyyyyyy!

Managed to recycle my 1pt e/w returns off impose toi onto the jonbon/protektorat forecast i mentioned on a "toilet break" at work which saved my day with dancing city falling and romeo finishing 2nd.

it paid more than i waw expecting so a small profit from what couldve been a blank day so very happy.

The less said about today the better for me.
Well done if you managed to make a profit

:applause: Don't go pissing it all away on daft antepost shit for cheltenham.

Only backed a few so far with cash, mostly free bets used :encouragement:

Cheers chaps.

Huge contrast from Cheltenham for me.

A very good day yesterday and somehow made it even better today.

Know you had a tough Cheltenham COD, so happy to see you back and bang in form.

Nice one chaps.

Appreciate all the comments.

Cheltenham, in more ways than one, was a struggle, so with things a bit more settled now the results seemed to have just followed.

Hope tomorrow is good for you all :smile-new:

Potentially the most baffling thing I've seen this season

What fucking numptys sent Tripoli Flyer off at 7/4 against Romeo and Mundi, a horse that has serious jumping errors in him and is a bleeder. I couldn't get my head around it at all
