2026 Ryanair Chase

JP will surely want to win the Gold Cup especially with Inothewayurthikin looking a shadow of last year.....
The money that’s been steadily coming for last years winner makes you wonder what Cromwell is telling JP. Watch the market. If F2F shortening for the Ryanair happens at the same time as Ino shortens for the GC (which is currently the case) it doesn’t take much to join the dots.

Fact to File fav on the machine now for this

Decent amount on the lay side too
Yeah, I've been laying him from 4.5 and under to get me out of my position and had to back Gaelic at 6/4...😱 with a massive stake.

Still would love FTF to run in this as would be my biggest winner and I have so many decent multiples with him in.

Garlic now a winner if he runs instead of FTF and small profit if the likes of Heartwood, Jonbon etc win.

There's your culprit Darlo.

That's literally the opposite of your culprit by the way. Just in case anyone was unaware how the exchange worked...

Ha ha. Not just me. There's been much more money than just mine! And of course, you need people wanting to back.
I imagine there are many that were in your position and stunned into action by his performance at Leopardstown. Only had to look at the reaction on here after that race to know.

I'm not really sure what difference it makes when either one goes slightly shorter than the other for the race.

If there were people who knew he's definitely going for the Ryanair, then you wouldn't be able to back him right now for it at 11/4 for as much as you like. Until I actually see one of them priced near what they'd be if they were actually running in it and the other one wasn't, then I wouldn't be really interested. Will probably swing back and forth about five times in the next week.

Yes, my thoughts as well. If anyone knew he was going Ryanair he'd be odds on. A little different re his Gold Cup odds as you'd still have the question mark re staying the extra 2f at Cheltenham. I'd say he'd be around 9/4 perhaps?

Yeah I'm not sure about the gold cup. He'd start fave I'd say, given that he already is right now even with the doubts about him running. Also his two main market rivals have the same question to answer of whether they'll see out the trip at cheltenham. So ground conditions probably won't play as much of a factor on the betting as they would if his main market rival was a dour stayer. About 9/4 could be right.

Fact to File running here will rule out Gaelic Warrior and got to make it a chance they serve it with Jonbon also. Tried to find an each way play but think it could be a Fact to File Walkover  Be surprised if we end up with 8!

Reckon Handstands NRNB is probably a fair play at 40s. Doubt he'd run unless it's a small field.

Yep,
Pauling on that preview the other night said he would not race for second. So if either Mullins horse showed up then he'd prefer ultima.
Which I thought was a stupid viewpoint myself.
I watched the preview and saw him necking the wine and being outclassed in the banter by Gordon who had him on a piece of string.
Bearing all that in mind I should have ignored him and backed for ryanair.
But I didn't. I had a saver in the ultima.
Fact to File has shortened a fair bit for the race now though.

Supports Firefox being the e/w play now I’ve missed the Heart Wood prices (my own incompetence)

Dunno what he said at the above mentioned preview but Gordy was pretty keen on running Firefox in the Gold Cup previously.

Assume, like everyone else, he'll look to see where F2F turns up first before committing either way.

but but but no chance will Fact to file go ryanair after winning an IGC

F2F 2.72
Gaelic 6.6

a fair view being taken :ROFLMAO:
You do know it's just punters following the money Darlo??

Gold Cup all the way.
