2026 Novice Hurdlers

Lawlors next for I'll Sort That

I see copacabana has an entry this week. Anyone else think he’s worth a look for spud?

Persistent and attritional blue move for DDM in turners. Can’t see any entries. Any news?

8/1 with flutter on DDM turners is just utter madness

Bloody upping the Amte. Really does not help each year having everything sliced. Hopefully everyone on here is already on, who wanted to be.

Sortudo now also a best price 20/1 for the AB after being tipped up by DJ. Cop out by the bookies there. Jennings' record is tepid at best.

Even accounting for the fact his entry is over 2m this weekend

Not unusual that though is it.
Jasmin started at 2 miles last year.
All willie is arsed about is the ground being soft enough for his maidens

Yeah and was touted a supreme/turners horse by trainer before not knowing how to jump.

Willie's fucking with us then, as he said this in his stable tour

"This chap will want a trip and he's one for staying novice hurdles, so he might be an Albert Bartlett type. He's done well over the summer and is working away. We'll find a suitable maiden hurdle for him".

If he jumps like the Fly then he's the 2026 Supreme winner then

Just strange he could have had a mid trip start this weekend if thats what they wanted but have opted for 2m. Whether that is to suit another horse or what im not sure

His performance this weekend will tell abit more youd like to think though going against Jalon d'oudaries

My view. Theflyingking travels and jumps like a 3 mile novice. Might be worth a punt on the AB but health warning is that Gordon might be placing and running him for a crack at the Martin Pipe or another Handicap. Anyone else got a view ?
I backed for the spud race in a roll up but as others have said, I can see this being a handicap plot now. Didn’t say the race, but slightly out off by the pulling up comments….let’s hope it’s a learning experience! After all Limerick lace was a monkey….didn’t stop her winning a fair few!

….here you go, Matey. You can access the tours in the Stable Tour thread which is a ‘sticky’ in the members section. Post #1 is an index;

Keep Him Company
5g Walzertakt - Anais Collonges
Gigginstown House Stud
1- (point form)

I liked what I saw from him when he won a point at Kildorrery for the Costellos. He'll stay well and I want to get him over hurdles sooner rather than later.
Entered in a bumper this weekend... Hard work second guessing these trainers

That price is a total farce now. Embarrassing for a firm that sponsor all these Cheltenham ante post shows while going ridiculously defensive pricing

The irony of the entry (if he takes it up) is if he wins, he shortens for all 3 races. If he get's beat, he will drift for the Supreme and Turners and probably still shorten for the Bartlett depending on the manner of defeat.

I haven’t been on here in a while, so I need to catch up on some reading, but what was the general consensus on Sober Glory at Chepstow?

I think the Challow is next for him, but I’d be interested in opinions on him as an Albert Bartlett type.
