Yeah probably depends on how she's training and how she settles in. Always the case with these juves if they don't lose their novice status.

Willie mentioned in the SL tour that she could be one for the Triumph or Mares Nov, so assuming she does settle in well, there's every chance we will see her out in Jan/feb and if she loses her nov tag great, if not then one for next year.

It's worth remembering/reminding about the new rule for all novice hurdle graded races at the festival.
Might affect some horses more than others, and would need the handicapper to play ball.
Even if they've run there will be no guarantees they'd get a rating, unless the race they ran in/form makes it obvious.
Not sure on exact details either as there may be a cut off point for qualifying races to count

I reckon Glen to Glen could be a big threat as well . JOB likes to have a good one ready for this and has won the race a couple of times before including last year.

This is a filly I really like the look of. It's early days and you never really know what you've got until later in the season but every time she works she puts her hand up. She keeps catching my eye at home. She looks to have loads of ability and she'll start off in the juvenile hurdle at Down Royal this week. We're looking forward to that.

A winner on the Flat in France who jumps well at home and has taken his work well. We like the look of him for juvenile hurdles and he should be ready to run soon.

There was some discussion in here a couple of weeks ago when Olga De Kiev won the G3 at Auteuil by 4l giving weight to them all (RPR 125) and the owners said they were keen to explore a route to the Triumph, I'm sure most have joined the dots but for the benefit of those who aren't she was 4th to Manlaga (levels) when they both debuted back in March beaten 8 lengths...

I fully believe Olga was given the very steady education to start off her career. Her jumping was a bit iffy to start with aswell on debut, her chance had also probably gone with having to avoid the faller and the early 1m6 trip didnt suit her at all.
She's a difference animal now stepped up to the 2m2 trip.

Yeah I don't doubt that Jim and you follow French racing far more than me, though like most French races it was a crawl for the most part so maybe Olga wasn't fully wound up to go with them when they accelerated.
But I can't hide my excitement for Manalaga...

I've heard nothing from Hendo, can we assume she won't be at HQ for the juvenile hurdle there ?
Hendo certainly knows how to prep a Triumph horse so I'll not be worried if we don't see her for a bit....

IIRC he may have said she will be a bit busier this season than he has previous with the likes of Lulamba

Prix Pride of Kildare 5th FALCON JET just been walloped out of sight @ Lyon in a juvenile hurdle

Early days and the first bit of real notable collateral form to go off but been saying I don't think that race will work out myself with

Macho Man - winner (willie)
Feel Gut - 2nd (nicky)
Forty Fifty - 4th (willie)

Cue them being 1-2-3 in the Triumph

Those two along with Hallelujah U, 100 (James Owen) will potentially be stiff English competition to the Irish for next March's Triumph.

Hallelujah U entered up next Tuesday. Win that and he'll be on his way to the Juvenile race at the November meeting the same as East India Dock.

This Triumph looks like being a Hell of a race.

Yeah, all about that first run. I'd imagine East India Dock was a bigger price before his first run last season ? but then rightly so as this guy is fully a stone better than him on the flat this time last season. Has to prove it over jumps of course.

Group-placed on the Flat, he's been gelded, had a break and has schooled well over hurdles. He's a big horse who stays well and is almost ready to run. He's not bred to go over jumps but he enjoys it and, if his debut goes well, we can look at the Triumph Hurdle Trial at the November meeting. He's the highest-rated of those from the Flat who are going juvenile hurdling, so it would be nice to think he can get to Cheltenham in March.
