He would go off favourite against any other horse in the ryanair if they all stand their ground in the Gold cup and fact to file supplements.

I find it hard to believe all these trainers and connections will all go gold cup.
Someone, and probably more than one will defect.

Race you have the best chance of winning and all that. Or go for the hottest most competitive gold cup in years as 8th Favourite in the betting. Some of these horses in the top 10 of the betting if they all line up will be going off 20-1+, they have to really. He'd be one of them for sure

Obviously more to it than beating the horse that had won the Betfair Chase for the last two years.

Chances are someone will bottle it. If Mullins is happy with GDC then it could be Gaelic that switches. Mullins/Ricci got a history of that :LOL: . Don't see a King George winner switching even if it may be a better race for the horse though could be worth a cover in a related double. At least he has form at 2 1/2 miles. Jango Baie could be one to switch as well depending on how he gets on this weekend. Only a 7yo, there is plenty of time for him to come back another season fingers crossed!

Gaelic should definitely go Gold Cup as long as he’s got a jockey that can control him imo.
Hes beaten GDC despite not settling and had the jockeys been reversed would have beaten him by a lot further imo.

Owner said he would love a gold cup winner anywhere before the race today, well here’s your chance Ricci.

Bloody hell Ricci, if either or both look like happening , don’t stand for it !!

I'd have thought that, if you have to have a bet, an nrnb double with GW in the Ryanair and Lossiemouth in the Mares would look attractive.

Also the Lossie CH & Gaelic Ryanair double.
Might be hard to get Ricci to be squeezed out of the big races with both horses.

Interesting thoughts all.... So the majority thinks GW destination is all to do with Paul's choice... Ie.. If he thinks galopin is ready come march then GW will go ryanair..? Have I summarised the room consensus?

Imagine how PT would feel if GDC won a 3rd Gold Cup and he'd ridden something else in the race.

For that reason, I can't see him in any other horse.

To add to my additional plonker based statement above..I just realised I had an old stub in shop for F2F at 12/1 along with my 50s for
Haiti Couleurs before xmas. If fact to file does get supplemented does my AP bet still stand right ?
