2023 Novice Hurdlers

….I suppose you can do no more than win a bumper easily regardless of opposition.

More interesting to me is that Gigginstown rarely send theirs to Mullins, so I ask, ‘would they send him one if they didn’t think it was good’? I wish I knew the answer.

There's about 10 back in Closutton now

One that might be a forgotten horse is Dark Raven, won two bumpers for WPM about 18 months ago, was bought privately before 2nd run by Munir/Suede. He missed last season due to a slight setback (I think!) - he was one I was really keen on. Hopefully back sound now.

Agreed, completely forgot about this lad. Really liked him

I have the county in the back of my mind for Il Etait Temps should he meet an early season set back or not get out until the second half of the season- he only needs one more hurdle run for a county mark and he shouldn't get too penalised for a maiden win - worth monitoring how he is campaigned IMHO.

Funny, I was looking at him today and I wrote down every handicap Hurdle as a potential for Il Etait Temps for this season. He's definitely one to keep tabs on.

…from what I can see, Il Etait Temps is 10-1 TWAR with Hills.

there's been a boost most weekends with hills to double the odds on one bet

…..that would be good, don’t think I’ve ever been offered anything but a normal boost.

I think it applies to most, try selecting a horse and then apply the boost

I’m hoping he blows everything and everyone away on debut and Willie comes out and says “There’s my Supreme horse right there”

You know you want to Willie...........:glee:

My money is on Supreme

Willie likes the strong speedy staying types for Supreme as they go full clip and don't get much of a breather, hence the staying type eg Champagne Fever, Vautour, Klassical Dream etc

He likes to send the speedy type to Ballymore as they get a breather about 4 out and then sprint home, eg Sir Gerhard last March

Feel free to Diss but thats what i think

Absolutely no fucking idea :glee:

I'm one year into antepost betting but even I know it's pointless trying to second guess Willie Mullins' mind when it comes to novice hurdlers, until we at least see some race entries

….happy to be sitting on a 66-1 voucher to ‘win CB & any race at 2023 Festival’, so I’m not overly bothered but I’ll say Supreme because it would suit my book more if An Tobar is the real deal for the Ballymore.
