2023 Novice Hurdlers

This season's mares would have to poor for it to win. 2nd last season but the 2 best mares were ruled out and Love Envoi was giving it 5 pounds. There will be a couple too good.

Despite Lobos' continued support of Ahorsewithnoname, this is exactly how I see it too.

Love Envoi very highly rated by connections. Mares Hurdle this season then Champion Hurdle 2024. Following Honey route. It was a decent MNH this year imo. Mullins lot were blown away. I'm happy to be the only person on this forum to have backed Ahorsewithnoname:welcoming::welcoming::welcoming:

Brandy love and allegories de sassy were injured for Mullins in the run up though so not sure his best ran in that race.

Mick Fitzgerald was grinning from ear to ear when matt Chapman asked him about luccia

Nicky saying "she could be anything over hurdles" in the stable tour not his bog standard exciting prospect line

that 25/1 that hills opened up about her for the mares novice hurdle was such a good price

Really excited to see how she jumps

Don't think iv ever had a bet in the mares novice as early as that one haha
 
Luccia was hugely impressive in her bumpers and Nicky clearly rates her but the issue with her Knee locking out more than once puts me off especially with her now jumping hurdles. Nicky said it was a habit of hers and that she went over one day and they thought they'd lost her. He says he doesn't think it'll trouble her again but it must be a big worry.
 
Does anybody have any news on Bonttay for Fergal O'brien?

Won 2 bumpers at Cheltenham last year relatively easily, keen to know if she's going hurdling this year

From Fergal’s stable tour on Sporting Life…..

“She was great for us last year and she’s three from three, she got a heart murmur but if we can get that right she’s got a massive engine. She’s got a great temperament and does everything you’d want her to do, we just need to get over that heart murmur. She literally lives with an ECG machine on her and it’s so far so good.”

Doesn't fill you with confidence does it ! Poor girl.
 
Halka Du Tabert
Here's a really nice mare. She couldn't have won her point any easier and she's got very strong over the summer. We'll find a bumper for her somewhere soon. She's big, so she'll jump a hurdle sooner rather than later.

Interesting one this mare won her point by 30 lengths, with the next 2 home going on to win maiden points themselves. Can't find a price on her for the mares novice hurdle.
Is she of interest to anyone else?
Is it possible a Twitter user could possibly request a price?

Doesn’t sound good does it. Wouldn’t be a great look if anything happened to her either, god forbid.

I guess the vets & everyone involved will have a far better grasp on the situation & dangers, so if they’re happy for her to continue then just have to trust they’re right.

Requested there to several firms, let you know when it’s up. hopefully some go longer than 25s standard opening
