Henderson loves a test-less race, Warwick it is
Anyone seen any news on Gentlemansgame? I was very much hoping/expecting to see an entry for the Ten Up...
Been hovering over this one for a week or so as he does seems to be one that is currently over priced , but with only 1 run and the owners having the favourite, is he a likely runner in the BANC?
For those that like Banbridge I see he is 13/2 any race with sky but only 4/1 turners
Jonbon won't like it up him when he has a fight on his hands. Think he'll spit the dummy and be found wanting.
Interesting view, failed to out battle him last season, with Jonbon on the back of a long season. Jonbon, will go from the front, taking a length a fence. Also a fair change of El Fab making a race ending mistake.
Jonbon, you can see totally loves attacking those fences, which I think is massive for a 2 mile Novice Chaser.
The thing about 'good jumpers' is that all horses make a jumping mistake eventually and 'moderate jumpers' have more opportunity to learn to recover their mistakes whereas it can be curtains for a 'good jumper'. Think Un De Sceaux.
Different horses do it in different ways. The main aim is to negotiate the fence safely without losing momentum and that's what El Fabiolo has done in both his chases. It's most unlikely that Jonbon will gain a length at every fence although it's certainly feasible that it will happen at a few.
….Arkle/Turners options being kept open for Banbridge;

I'm struggling to see why Banbridge is even relevant this year.
Has he got ANY form in the book that'd make him a G1 festival winner?
Rewatch his Arkle trial win and then come back. His Martin Pipe win has worked out pretty well too. Horses for courses and all that.
I don't need to re-watch it. I'll just repeat what I said. I'm struggling to see why Banbridge is even relevant this year.
He's not up to winning a G1. Surprised if he ever does.
Love the trainer, but just not relevant at 6/1 or below. Disgusting.
Can't have him in a Turners but 25/1 Arkle is tooooooo big.
Well, it's not is it.....Arkle 10/1 NRNB or 25/1 to not run?
Turners he's 11/2 best price with a firm I've never heard of
