Couldn’t agree more. Yes he was hampered but was never threatening the leaders. Very much one paced
 
Has anyone heard anything about Benaud going over hurdles yet. He's the one I'm looking forward to if he does.
 
It was a disappointment but in those races being the fav you need to be prominent, won’t win Triumph but would expect a better run and ride next time.
 
I liked the winner though, possible boodles horse perhaps?
 
I struggled not to be disappointed with that run from Gentleman Joe. OK, so he got hampered by the faller, but Rachael never looked overly happy on him.

I cashed out, I have some free bets remaining which I can do nothing about anyway, but for me they are lost bets, as he'd have to improve a fair bit, and I'd imagine is more likely to be campaigned as a Boodles horse now. Winner done it well though, and Josephs was an eye catcher, and probably wouldn't have gone unnoticed.
 
Fils Dor entered in a poor looking race on Sunday so come the afternoon he might be 7/2 for Triumph.

Max Mayhem could be pretty useful though. 99 Flat rated animal.

They’ve already learnt lessons from it by removing Grand Jury completely from the betting so no cash out available

Haven't heard/seen anything as I have a very tiny punt and freebet on him(hoping to get back my Sir Erec(RIP) losses from a few years back!). I've actually backed Champion Green who has the same connections and been mentioned by O'Brien in his stable tours.

Kevin Blake was asked was Benaud going to go over hurdles on a Betfair podcast (it was a few weeks ago, can't recall what date it was) but he said there weren't any plans to put him over hurdles. As far as I remember, it was just a listener question so there wasn't any in depth discussion about it, just Kevin answering and moving on to next question
