So I and many others are the real benefactor of all this info that filters down. How lucky we are. Just takes us all to absorb it and then release our thoughts and theories and try to come up with successful end results.
 
Exactly as Sax says, but they're also just a really good read Lobos. They come out in September so it really gets you in the mood for the season ahead when there's little worthwhile national hunt action worth bothering with.

While reading them it also puts a good baseline in your head for the right horses, plus a whole bunch of new horses from Points and France, including where they've gone and if you can read between te lines, some comments worth noting. Also as the season develops there are a whole bunch of quotes in there that you refer back to. I also use them to add my own comments to my trackers.

Yes, we then give them our attention and research those names mentioned between us all, and come up with a diagnosis.

* Ballymore
* Supreme
* No Bet

A bit like an Antepost Racing Doctor.

Without those names and initial details coming in to us, we have no diagnosis to make.

Like a Doctor with no patients visiting with their initial medical complaint.

Thats why I read them.
 
The one I'd like to get a review from somebody for is Jodie Standing's Point to Point Recruits.

Has anyone bought it previously, and what did you think?
 
Haven’t bought it Spectre but I do follow her on twitter and recall her having quite a purple patch at one stage last season with horses from the book winning.
 
Always buy Mark Howard's book, it's a very good read.

imo you can't just take one data point - you need to triangulate multiple ones, and this is a good net cast wide tool.

Had the annual correspondence through the post so MH book can be pre ordered now, usually doesn't get sent out well into September thou so prob still a month away.

What is a Nikini?
and have you seen one or maybe even worn one before?
 
Having searched Google, the first post on page one, suggests they have Nikini Menstrual Underpants, at the ‘Museum of Menstruation’ :hopelessness:

So I’m guessing that’s a no, to having worn one.

I requested a price with all bookies for Nikini in the bumper, more out of curiosity than anything. Everyone pretty much went 25/1 except Paddys offered me 50s via "dial a bet".
 
What are people's thoughts on O'Toole who split Kilcruit and Sir Gerhard at Punchestown ?

Like him quite a bit, see him as a Bartlett horse if he does get there. Seemed a decent stayer

Yeah, Albert was my first thought after watching the Punchestown race back. Might add him as he's a tasty price.
