Reported in weekender that Ruby told Segal he would like to ride Nichols C in this. 14/1 NRNB with BetVictor and not quoted by Bet365.
Can we take from this (if it's true) that Annie Power definitely won't run in the WH? Can't believe Ruby would prefer to ride NC over AP if they were both to run... Over VVM yes, but not AP.
I've said it for a long time but I fully expect Annie Power to run in the mares hurdle, no obvious reason to run her anywhere else....
Quevega was a better horse and the Mares race was a G2 in her day and they still resisted the temptation to run her in the World Hurdle, Annie Power has tried and failed to win a World Hurdle and has no festival victory to her name, I just don't see any race other than the Mares being on their radar.
I'd say everyone's accas are OK....
It wasn't that long ago there was some 9/1 Thislecrack NRNB, hope a few in here took advantage of that, obviously I didn't !
but you did lump on yesterday![]()

I am starting to think Thistlecrack may not be a banker and I am looking to take him on. Looking at his previous races he has looked impressive due to being up against out-of-form horses or horses that have revert back to hurdling due to poor runs over fences. There are a few horses in this race that will give him a run for his money.
Was KV Mullins top 3m hurdler (not including AP)? If he was I am sure he would have kept him hurdling to go for the WH incase AP never made it. Whoever he enters in this race would mean he or she would have the beating over KV.
Thistlecrack should have won that race against KV though Love Racing ?
I think he was the best horse in that race and probably will be the best in this years World Hurdle. If Scudamore keeps it simple he will win imo.
Yep, if I rememeber he was short of room and should have won.
I just don't give any credit to the horses he has beaten this season. RDS was 8L 2nd and that was his(RDS) best result over 3m this season.
