2015 Ryanair Chase

Ballcasey will probably be the one but would fear either of the other two !

I think you have to fear most of the horses that turn up for these top races, you never know how many under par performances are down to the horse being prepared for the one race, Boston Bob would be well suited I would say, he could probably cruise along behind Cue Card and try to serve it up to him from 2 out. There are some mouthwatering races lining up this year, I hope they pan out as we hope, but it would be nice to have more clarity on the runners so we could bet with a little more confidence.

We just need more non runner no bet.

It's a pity Bet Victor dropped their offer.

Dynaste - Tom Scudamore

He ran Ok bit I think that we can probably get him better. It was disappointing to get beaten but Many Clouds put up a good performance and we were trying to give a fair bit of weight away to Smad Place. The soft ground wasn’t ideal and I think he’s better on better ground but that’s not an excuse, he was beaten by a better horse on the day. Of course I was disappointed not to win, I always am, but Dynaste is still on course for Cheltenham and the Ryanair Chase, and I still think he’s a worthy favourite. On the plus side he stayed well enough which gives us more options for the future but his form shows that he is best over a stiff two and a half miles which is what he’ll get in the Ryanair.

Ma Filleule being cut at several bookies for this whilst being pushed out for the Gold cup. Anyone got any thoughts on this, for me she hasn't done enough to suggest she's good enough for either, even with the weight allowance.

Djakadam and Boston Bob wont run in Ryanair, Gold Cup def for these two.

There was something in the English times about her ...didnt read it but next race is the 2.5m Grade1 at Ascot.

Presume she will have a National entry too so maybe a good bit left to work on ?

Mind you backing a chaser trained by Hendo should carry a wealth warning at the minute

The dazzling run of success enjoyed by Simon Munir shows no sign of slowing and the owner’s burgeoning team for Cheltenham next month could include a Betfred Gold Cup contender in Ma Filleule.
Munir has enjoyed a series of high-profile wins this winter with French imports that he owns in partnership with Isaac Souede and the pair had another double to celebrate at Sandown Park on Saturday, including a victory at the highest level with Gitane Du Berlais.
Ma Filleule, owned outright by Munir, has been pencilled in for the Betfair Ascot Chase on Saturday week en route to a

...behind paywall !

Dynaste out

His jockey Tom Scudamore said: "David rang me this morning to tell me he would miss Cheltenham and it's obviously a big blow.

"It's very disappointing and he'll leave a big hole as far as our Cheltenham is concerned, that's for sure, but we're thankful for what he did for us last season and hopefully he'll be back better than ever."

Prior to his run behind Hennessy hero Many Clouds, Pipe's charge had been a fine second to Gold Cup favourite Silviniaco Conti in the William Hill King George VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day.

Following the defection of Dynaste, Betfred make Gordon Elliott's Don Cossack the 4-1 favourite for the Ryanair.

The don is my main bet for this race! with abit of a saver on ballycasey who ran really well in the RSA last year

Dynaste is the start of it ...there will be one out every couple of days from now on.

for your convenience :)
