Henderson must have something else for this other than those quoted. Ericht might be one if he has blown his mark for the handicap hurdle. McManus will have something other than these ^ too.

Mr Mole

He'll have an entry in the Grand Annual and he could run in the race, but we'll see when the weights come out and there are no firm plans for him.

* Third, beaten 30 lengths, on latest appearance in Grade Two Desert Orchid Chase at Kempton Park on December 27.
* Has won six times in his career, over distances between two miles and an extended two and a half miles. Latest victory came in two-mile novices' chase at Perth in April, 2012.
* Holds Festival entries in the BetVictor Queen Mother Champion Chase and the Johnny Henderson Grand Annual Handicap Chase, in which he was seventh in 2012.

One horse who will represent Hanlon at Cheltenham is Nearest The Pin, who is on course for the Johnny Henderson Grand Annual Chase.

"I worked him in Punchestown the other day and he worked very well," said the trainer.

"He worked with a horse of Edward O'Grady's (Gallant Tipp) who was second in a Graded race at Thurles this week and he was very good with him, so we are quite keen on his chance in the Grand Annual.

"Tony Martin used to train him and said he was better on good ground. He needs 15 to come out and that will probably happen."

Ted Veale to the Arkle now. Martin obviously got the hump about the big rating.

AP on Mr Mole according to Betfair Preview.
