Supreme Novices 2018

Slate house seems a popular horse on here and he was impressive enough on debut. My worry would be that he seems like he'd be suited by further but is running over 2 because tizzard has white moon for 2 and a half and seems a little sweeter on that horse from the (admittedly small) pieces I've seen from the yard.

I'd be personally of the opinion that slate house will end up over 2 1/2 and white moon over 3. I think slate house would be fine over 2 however.

Will be interesting to see how white moon gets on in the ballymore trial as although he did it nicely on debut, he beat absolutely nothing.

Over last month or so I being hearing about a horse Called Dortmund Park. Any of you guys know what race he be aim 4?

Claimantakinforgan out tomorrow in the first at Newbury. Looks like a race he should readily win, hoping he looks pacey enough in doing so to look a contender for this race, Henderson thinks a lot of him

It's a good test. I really like, lost in translation, he was catering at chepstow when he made a terrible blunder, the winner dynamite dollars won well again yesterday. If he opens up too big, 4/1 or bigger I'll be backing him.
I Will be impressed if claimantakinforgan wins well.

Western Ryder beat Dynamite Dollars in a bumper last year by 15 odd lengths giving him a stone. So Claimantakinforgan should have plenty in hand assuming his hurdling is up to scratch

We will see. I'm off the opinion lost in translation would have won that race well.
I hope claimantakinforgan wins, but i dont think its obvious that he'd win readily against a nice horse at this stage.
dosent look like I will get my 4/1 now.

Solely on what Ive read and comments from Henderson himself , I believe Pym the yards number 1 by a long way.

I take view that they will want to avoid Samcro and come here.

Anyone have any news when he will be out?

I agree, think it will be close if you take into account it’s claimantakinforgan’s hurdles debut and that he might need the run. Still think he should have the class to prevail but price of 4/9 is poor

Really like Pym and Henderson often pitches two smart ones into the Supreme

Beyond the clouds was visually very impressive today if that was Pym or Annamix he'd be 7/1.
As it stands he's trained by Kevin Ryan, he goes on good ground and is 66/1 for the supreme

I was quite impressed with BTC. The horse he beat at Kelso has since been out and won nicely. I'd like to see him step up in quality now. Lets hope Kevin Ryan does that. Does anyone know his next engagement????

Yes kevin ryan said he deffinately steps up in class next time, no idea where, but he said he won't run on soft winter ground.

Nice outing for Claimantakinforgan there. Travelled really well and jumped as clinically as you would expect a Henderson novice to do so, Lost In Translation looked pretty smart also. He doesn't seem to have a visually taking burst of speed off the bridle, so will be interesting to see what the timings say. In the top races last year he seemed just a little outpaced at the end of his races so could be the same against the very best over hurdles, but in a strongly run Supreme i'd be expecting to see him travelling as well as anything coming up the hill

Id agree was a decent opener and the second is no mug .

Pym entered up next Tuesday at Huntingdon currently.

Demon D'aunou also entered in the same race too.

I know Hendo like Huntingdon but as a track it's the polar opposite to Cheltenham so if Hendo thinks a flat galloping right handed track will suit the horse then that would worry me if I was holding a Cheltenham voucher, more likely he sees this as a good introduction/education to jumping timber....

Daly tiger impressive in his bumper today, noel Meade said he was likely to go straight over hurdles

Buveur D'air had his second run over hurdles at Huntingdon so although I agree on the type of track, i'm not overly concerned about starting here. That said if that was to continue in his second or third runs though then there may be something in it...Henderson likes the novice hurdle at Kempton so if that was to be another race he takes in then you would ideally like to see him try somewhere more similar to Cheltenham at some stage. Really excited to see Pym out though.

I'd also echo the thoughts on Claimantakinforgan - very solid debut. I think either him or Pym could likely and may be suited in going up in trip so it's pretty unclear at the moment where each goes for me.

My Tent Or Yours had his third Hurdle start at Huntingdon and it didn't turn out too badly for him in his Novice season.

I'm in the Pym camp as I preferred his bumper campaign as it's more in line with a traditional Henderson route.

Thats some test for EARLY DOORS tomorrow. I wouldn't be expecting him to win but pitching in him here they must think he will have come on plenty for the run.
