From the front.

He's just gone for a spin out the back there hasn't he. Can't be retiring on the back of that!
Yep. Never put into race. Dan did say not to expect much. He wasn't wrong.

….more winners for Skelton yesterday, that 14-1 with Lads to break Pipe’s most winners in a season record must be under threat.

He has chances in every race at Perth today as well.

Steve from smoking cheltenham won't be regaling us with his thoughts on antepost bets this season.
Which is a shame as he was one of the more astute of the punters putting up stuff on Youtube. 👏
And I'll miss the sound of his breathing and how his rambles could help me to snooze sometimes.
His Mrs is unwell so all the best to her and him. (y)

@Yosser has that book landed yet?
No mate. Couldn't make it up 😂 I emailed royal mail yesterday telling them I need my mail delivering as a matter of urgency as I have missed a hospital appointment (I haven't) but even that says it could take up to 7 days for a response 😄 their whole system needs shutting down. Had no mail here for 3 weeks and I know the lovely TV Licensing people are desperate to have a chat, they have been for about 20 years 😂

Cheltenham have cancelled the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase at The November Meeting because the ground is currently unraceable.

The track have been unable to water the Cross Country Course with all resources focused on ensuring safe ground for the Showcase Meeting next Friday and Saturday and officials say the weather forecast suggests that dry conditions are likely to continue, with insufficient rainfall expected to achieve safe conditions on the Cross Country course in time for November.

The Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase will now be rescheduled for Festival Trials Day on Saturday 30th January, creating an eight-race card.

Not a biggie , but I thought they don't , or can't water the cross country course . ??.
Just rely on mother nature . ?.
Unless it's to do with the drainage work that's been done this year.

Golden Ace, Marine Nationale, Fact To File, Bob Olinger and Inothewayyurthinkin were the five championship heroes this time 12 months ago. None of the five managed to retain their crowns at the Festival just gone

Just read through the Nickyi Henderson Stable Tour on Sporting Life website. Loads of good data ref Novices. From my personal betting perspective the two main things I took from it are (1) Jingko Blue won't be seen in a G1 this season (cashed out Stayers bet) and (2) Lulamba won't be running in The King George (Cashed out). Lulamba Ryanair looks a good bet. Anyone read anything different from his comments ?

I got exactly the same thoughts on those two. Surprised about Lulamba but also delighted because my King George book is better than my Gold Cup book and Lulamba ain't in either 🤣

just read Henderson comments on Lulamba

I don’t think it’s enough for me to cash out my AP position, as I’m on Lulmaba at good odds and cash out only returns my stake. I’ll mull over it

I think it 50/50, whether he goes KG and it all depends on how he jumps and wins the 1965. Doesn’t sound massively positive though… they could mop up all the 2 and a half miles grade 2’s with him this season before stepping up next season

Hmmm… need to have a think re cash out

I don't have access to it and don't know how they work. I'm stuck with what I've got. Can you do partial cash outs? And then use the cashed out part to cover elsewhere in the KG. Romeo, Heart Wood, Kitzbuhel and Banbridge are all but confirmed as going. Still plenty of juice in the market yet but it won't last long.

I have Kitz and Heart Wood already backed

Romeo isn’t one I fancy for it, but going to need to cover him

Who you got covered for the KG Yosser

I've got a 6 strong team. A few almost certain to go and a couple of big priced maybes

Kitzbuhel (rolled up with a footy bet) think the odds work out about 55/1
Heart Wood - 50/1
Romeo Coolio - 20/1
Fact To File - 25/1
Impaire Et Passe - 66/1
And of course Banbridge - 20/1

Just had the £20 on all each way, added one a week to my Saturday bets over a 6 week period. (Kitzbuhel was a tenner win)

I added Fact To File for the JP factor. He has taken to supplementing horses for it so he must want it in his trophy cabinet. They got it wrong with him last year but could see them having another crack. Majborough would frighten me going that sort of pace over that many fences so it made a bit of sense. If Willie sends F2F back over then it's time to try and figure out what he will put in the horse box to come with him for the Kauto Star 😄
