I've been looking at them today. I am in the annual battle with myself of whether to go around again or not, left it 2 months too late this year and was playing catch up. I think if you are doing it, you have to start the day after Gold Cup day but those early prices are pretty underwhelming and have left me in a pickle again. I've been working on 2027 this weekend, got 56 horses written down

(14 of those are in the BANC) but that's how it always starts, and that will grow. Finding the value before Aintree always yields my best results but that is also dependent on how Cheltenham goes. They would have to be pretty nailed on targets too. I don't mind taking 5/1 for Kopek Des Bordes say, for the 2027 Champion Chase if he wins the Arkle but would only play small stakes on everything until the spring festivals have all finished. If I go around again
I have one horse I am going to be quietly chipping away at and that's Kaid D'Authie for the Gold Cup win or lose at Cheltenham. I think he is a proper one and will improve out of sight next season.
