2026 Novice Hurdlers

How have Unibet cut Theflyingking for the Martin Pipe off the back of I'll Sort That winning, when he still needs 3 more runs before the 20th Feb and no current entries, not even at the DRF :rolleyes:

Yeah, i'd be waiting for NRNB now as it's far from certain which race they'll end up in.
And he was tailed off today so hopefully all good, and gave up plenty early enough.
I'm on for 1 pt in coral cup now.
And got enough on for pertemps thanks to nagger reidy the last day

I’ve been keen on those bumper formlines for ages. Got I’ll Sort That in the book for the Turners at 50/1 off the back of it. 🎺

I'm sure it wouldn't be a major consideration, but Danny won the Coral Cup last season on willies second string, and always gets a good ride in it with a chance, whereas Willie never has anything for the pertemps. So pertemps might be Danny's preference, for all thats worth.

I'm sure they'll weigh all that up. including Danny's options.
Hopefully he just gets there, that's the main thing especially for the smaller outfits.

You think he can turn it around with Nab Wood? Especially with the additional few pounds the British handicapper will give him?

The race was a handicap in the UK so doubt he'll get any tax, unless he runs again.
I think that race was a sprint finish myself, and he is a better horse just trying to qualify
But obviously cannot be certain.

If memory serves, Danny got off Vischio in last year's Coral Cup to ride JDS and pretty sure he had some connection to Vischio via Emmet (plus had ridden him to victory at DRF).

Think he might be even 5 or 6lb better off with Nab Wood actually as he got a 6lb penalty for winning.
 
I'll sort That was Ruby's pick at the start of the season for a Novice to follow.

Denise thinks the run was awful but it was a graded race so what was expected beforehand?

Hopefully Townend rides Bunting and leaves Danny to Storm Home and win the race again?
