I actually requested these earlier today. A few others I asked to be added I can see:

State Man 2024 CH 8/1 (assuming Constitution goes chasing)

MP Turners 2023 and Ryanair 2024 14/1 (assuming Gerri to GC, requested any race 2024 but they haven’t added it - seems a bit of a mid distance specialist anyway)

Hunters Yarn 2024 Arkle 20/1 after Willie’s post-race comments yesterday

His sire has never had a horse go chasing

Though he's not sired many national hunt horses at all

the sire has only won 10 national hunt races according to the racing post website

And 4 of them were marine nationale

…..Henderson also mentioned looking forward to Walking on Air going novice chasing “up to 3m” and he certainly looked a stamp of a chaser winning the Pertemps qualifier on Saturday. Appreciate if somebody could ask for a BANC price.

Trainer said he'll win arkle (not joking)
On luck on Sunday during Dublin he said he'd go arkle for sure.
He also talked about the sire and how he tried to buy him, but got turned down.

He was one of my three pre-season picks for the Turners. That went badly although glad he’s starting to show his potential. Hopefully will dodge the big races and be a decent price pre-season still.

Well Jackie, you're going to want to keep the sick bucket close by. As punters seek out what they perceive to be value, and far off Festivals are an obvious recourse, the bookmakers will act accordingly. The few that will even consider such markets.

I don't want to sound defeatist but that will be the direction of travel.

Oh I agree. A few on here have made very valid points on how shocking ante post is getting and I’d be in that club. As I’m only in it for fun and don’t book build, I’m almost at the point of binning it off completely next season. I’ll check the horses I have on my shortlists and if the prices are vile, I’ll take a step back.

With all the podcasts and Twitter amplification these days, it’s definitely only going to get worse.

At some point people will hopefully understand that it’s counter productive to complain about a products value while continuing to consume it. It’s not electricity or water, it’s discretionary spend

It's definitely one of the curses of social media.
Similar to the way truth has been sidelined, in favour of the social credibility of who's saying what (truth being irrelevant).

That's exactly what's gonna happen . No grey areas with Bazza ! . :welcoming:.

Perhaps I should be worried that at 32 years of age, I'm in the same situation!

(I plead working from home as my defence though :cool:)

…oh, always wear socks on the racecourse & especially on my regular visits to Ireland, racing with my pals.
