Cheltenham 2020 - Ante post bets

Looking at DRF enteries interesting ones
Samcro not entered - fallout from last race? Possible examination fallout?
Saldier not entered - not surprising given suggested goes straight to Chelt
Rayapour entered - assume he won’t go?

Anyone else spotted any interesting ones ?

By this time of the season I usually feel fairly confident about my selections, this season though I'm feeling rather underwhelmed and in a bit of a mess, just wondering how everyone else is feeling about their current books?

I think a lot of mine is down to having very little amount of 'back up' funds that I've had in previous seasons to fall back on and make decisions about. I also feel I overused the 'any race' market and backed some tosh I should have waited on entries for.

Plenty of time left. I felt the same last year and had more staked. Looking at your book you still have a few favs covered which is the main aim of antepost. Plenty of promotions to take advantage of closer to the time, if you can get hold of the accounts! I hadn't backed my biggest winners Klassical Dream, Al Boum, Ch'tibello and Early Doors by this time last year.

Just patiently waiting for NRNB shopping to start...

Most open festival I can remember. Bookies will have a field day ! Impossible to pin more than 3/4 down as bankers.
 
Does anyone have a link or dates for the entries for all the races?
 
H lads thinking of subscribing to Declan Phelans subscription service he seems to have an amazing handle on the ptp stuff, if anyone subscribes can you let know what you think of the service please.

The owner has Asterion Forlonge with WPM who definitely looks like a a Ballymore trio would suit, so when they all get their heads together, then a plan for another 2M run next time out may emerge for Shishkin.

Just a quick question to those that use BEx, it seems they have suspended some of the markets stayers, mares and some others....is there any reason why? And do we know when it’s going to be back up?

The entries for the Mares and Stayers have been completed but not released to the public yet.

Midday Thursday they will be released and the markets opened again.

Next midweek (22 Jan) its Novice Chase initial entries for the Arkle, Marsh, RSA and NHC

The following midweek after (29 Jan) It’s Novice Hurdle initial entries for Supreme, Ballymore, Albert Bartlett and the Triumph.

Then a wait until Weds 12th Feb when the first six races that declared entries go through a second entry stage (Gold Cup, Champion Chase, Ryanair, Champion Hurdle, Stayers, Mares Hurdle).

Then Wednesday 19th Feb all 10 handicaps have there initial entries confirmed.

Finally Weds 26th Feb the last 4 races have their entries confirmed, Bumper, Cross-Country, Foxhunters and Mares Novice.
