Supreme Novice Hurdle 2019

Elixir appears to be one of those horses that doesn't get the credit it probably deserves.
That turned into a proper race from some way out and was definitely good match practice.

For the Ballymore :devilish:

As a race the Tolworth was a exciting slog and first two home admirable tough sorts but are nothing special , certainly Cheltenham bound but I would be almightily surprised if they are good enough against the Irish strictly on what we saw so far this season.

wouldn't surprise me with Tizzard
But all runs at 2 mile for now and race looks bit more open.
But we'll see.
He's probably mentioning Albert Bartlett as we speak

I agree TB.

Tizzards interview after his previous win said Elixir Du Nutz can run flat out for two miles and jumps brilliant. I’d say it’s odds on they’ll do that in the Supreme as it’s served them well so far.

Yeah. This type can do well and had every opportunity to duck it today but nothing was going past him.
I liked it.

Just thought the form of Elixir Du Nutz & Grand Sancy is something that helps Frank Itchy Feet for this, there's certainly worse 50/1 shots out there for March

Can not dispute his aggressive style and admirable guts and determination but as far as I was aware Eldorado Allen was the number one who will not make the festival now, and for that EDN will be an able deputy In just don't see him holding on in a stronger race than what he has had to face to date.

The whole number one number two thing don't work out that often does it.
Impossible to tell on the gallops.
So basically useless.
Unless you have Hurricane fly and Ned the 27yr old donkey as the only animals in the yard.

He likes a stiff finish and is proven on all types of ground now. He may not be able to hold everything off in the Supreme but it will take good horses to get by him.

The owner felt this way, not an owner who I know much about but no reason to suggest he'd be saying it for the sake of it. You can take it as it comes, I will use it to form my own opinion, one man's rubbish is anothers treasure and all that.

Someone you don't know said something and you've no idea as to the reasoning why, but it's a treasure to you ?.

Horses of similar ability are practically impossible to separate in terms of ability in a race ,until they race properly, and even that probably needs to be seen in a few races to be absolutely sure.

He'll get swamped and loads will go past.

You've taken that too literally, typically. If you can't grasp what I meant then I give up.

So he’ll finish midfield at best? Brave call given this is not what I’d call a vintage Supreme division.

Couldn't agree more, think he's going to be up there. The form looks very strong.

I agree with you J.M , May not be the Sexiest Horse , but E.d.n surely has the Best form on offer
at the present time.
