Supreme Novice Hurdle 2019

I could find the patience to explain something to a 'child' not a supposed adult who replies with sarcasm time after time.

Explaining the Unexplainable would take a great deal of patience.

Tommy Darby’s form getting a nice frank by EDN. Sure he’s been beat twice since I must watch the Boxing Day race back but the time of his win at Cheltenham was pretty good especially when you consider he was green as grass. Has EDN improved possibly but a strong pace could see a lot of improvement from TD, which I don’t believe he has got in his last 2 races. Wouldn’t say I fancy him as a winner of this but reckon he is likely over priced.

I agree with you J.M , May not be the Sexiest Horse , but E.d.n surely has the Best form on offer
at the present time.

Best form? No chance

Mister fisher/ angels breath / quick grabim is the best form.

I wouldn’t like to say who has the best form right now as it’s impossible to judge. Some horses are positioned in the market based on visual impression and trainer vibes whilst others have done more on the track and consistently performed at a decent level. EdN has got the most consistent level of form that’s for sure but we won’t know if it’s the best until March probably.

Why do people like TD? Is it because he sticks his head up in the air and wears a noseband?

His jumping concerns me the most as it has not really improved during the season. Although he may not make any massive blunders, he’s very scrappy and loses ground thoughout the race.

Surprised if he's in the top 5 put it that way.

I can see you're coming round already (from loads to 5).
By March it'll be your money back if it loses bet with Sky:devilish:

No as I said I don’t see him as the winner of this race but feel he may be over priced following 2 losses.

Both losses were slow races where he’s been done for a bit of toe. The win was over C&D in a fast run race and the horse was quite green. I haven’t had a bet on him but I think he’ll improve for a pace and a demanding track.

How many go past depends how early it gets swamped but it will get swamped. Has no chance of winning.

I'm hanging in with Thomas Darby but think he's probably exposed.

It's that one early season piece of form and last years winner being beat so often that's keeping me interested. And the fact that half the horses probably won't turn up on the day for various reasons.

But my head tells me that EDN has improved since then and I should cash out Thomas bet, which I think I will once NRNB pops up.

I wonder if Thomas Darby needs his breathing done. He definitely stuck his head in the air at Kempton. He is still of interest to me, especially if ws is noted on the racecard next time out.

That's my point. Is he green or has he just got a dodgy head carriage? The latter in my opinion.
