I just think that form line is really strong and he is the one best in at the weights in related form so why not go for the Ultima.
And there is some hyperbole with what I’d saying about Pipe but I do think he’s not the sharpest of trainers, nor best race planners, and has not maximised this horses earnings.

Read today that Fugitif, who sluiced in on Welsh National day, is going to run next either at the Lingfield millions (unsure which race) or the Clarence House if it's soft conditions. Obviously he's got no chance in a Clarence house but connections said after this it would be on to Cheltenham, and the Plate 'looking the ideal race for him'. He got put up 10lb for his win at Chepstow to 143, but since finishing 2nd to Amarillo Sky at Cheltenham in October, AS has gone and won again and the 3rd from that race Grey Diamond runs this Saturday at Sandown, just because we know the Plate is his target, 16-20/1 seems fair.
I've also just noticed in this race So Scottish has been cut to 6-7/1 across the board, that's a poor price surely? I know connections won this with The Shunter and seen a couple of 'Tipsters' put it up this week at 14-16/1, but that's an almighty shift in the market to cause that price crash.

Yeah So Scottish about the first hcap horse many would be eying up given last run and yard etc, price already like he's a confirmed runner and going straight there but more than likely a race on route so just sit and see what entries pop up with him now.Last edited by Outlaw; 5 January 2023, 09:50 PM.

Morebattle hurdle, protect chase mark then to the festival for the plate. 100,00 bonus, plus punting winnings, race winnings .purchase covered I would've thought.
Too good to be true?? probably

Gaelic Warrior fever is on the rise again.
Apparently the symptoms are no socks, waistcoats and tweed caps. Any combination.
I'm going back to wearing a mask.
I mentioned a few weeks back that this horse could be a Bad one to follow.
A lot of people wanting money back on him.
Into 3-1 from 6's with Hills for the Pipe !!!
And 5-1 for the county from 8's !!!
Also some of the antepost prices taking a tumble for those with prices up PP & BF into 7's from 10's in the pipe.
Bit daft
The Munster hurdle entry looks less ambitious though so I can see why some will have got involved.
