Hello Fat Jockeys,

    • The Big Doyen beating Hunters Yarn and Nicky Johnson. One for the RPRs as they have The Big Doyen with one of the highest novice hurdle RPRs so far this year for his second last time.

Nicky Johnson 2nd who was beat easily by Three Card Brag.

      • Royal Bond entries in. Looks quite competitive, I'm presuming Irish Point is the only one that goes for Gordon. Three Card Brag imo wants further and will probably come too soon for Imagine. Interesting to see what Willie goes with, think he could have at least 3 in the race this year. The Barry Connell horse looks interesting too.

              • Looking forward to Demandrivingdouvan v Sandor Clegane shortly. Two horses absolutely crying out for a step up in trip, both fit after a run and either one could put themselves into the AB picture with a good win today.

edit - Happy enough with my 66/1 voucher after that!

Well, that was a nice performance to get off the mark over hurdles.

                    • He seems to be a horse who prefers slightly better ground. Crying out for 3m... think the 25/1 is still fair enough tbh.

Music Drive is fast becoming my Martin Pipe horse....

Was trying to find your post in your diary but it's quite hard with no search function on the mobile version of the site! Followed you in after your write up so thank you - hopefully he can keep progressing for us through the season

Long way to go, of course, but yeah, nice enough run to get off the mark. Wonder what they'll plan with him next, but whatever it is I imagine the 2m6f at the DRF will be on the cards next year, or at least that's what I'm hoping for.

Yep, odds are still against him but nice to dream and the place side of 66/1 is still juicy enough to cover every bet I've had on the Bartlett so far so double chances for me.

I'd be hopeful of Limerick Xmas Grade 2 then DRF then Bartlett personally. Let's see what they do.
