Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

          • Finally got around to reading Willie Mullins Stable Tour on Sporting Life and backed Coolreevy after. I thought he was very positive about her ability and target. Skybet still had her available at 28/1 last night which was the best price but with the risk of no cash out. I hope a younger progressive horse wins this new race and should as long as PTKO doesn’t turn up here. Along with PTKO I do hope Honeysuckle doesn’t go chasing. I cashed out on a decent AP bet on Honey after comments made by the owners but HDB didn’t rule chasing out which has put a number of Honeysuckle bets now in jeopardy

Not the first time I'll say it...but dangerous backing a novice chaser for this race... especially one they seem to see as a stayer?

The RSA, NH Chase, Kim Muir, varioius non-festival Mares Chases to aim at etc....

TKP, the comments re not ruling out chasing for Honey relates to NEXT season, not this. She stays hurdling this season.

I must have misinterpreted what HDB was quoted as saying, my interpretation was that they practice loose schooling with her and not ruling out going chasing with her this season?? I really hope she stays hurdling all this season

No. She's definitely staying hurdling all this season. Gold Cup will be the target in 2022 .

So she's going to win the Champion Hurdle this season, then win the Gold Cup next season?

That's the plan (dream) yes. She'll try and emulate the great Dawn Run. Honey v Envoi would make me drool.

                              • Shattered Love gets her perfect conditions tomorrow, and agree with everyone who has mentioned the generous price.

I'm not convinced for her in this race come March, but I may have a little of the potential winnings on her tomorrow roll on to this race depending how she looks dropped back into Mares company. Lobo's stat showing her record in Mares company does draw me in. 20/1 for the race currently, even a price cut by half (which I couldn't see) would result in a 30/1 + price. She's been well beat in plenty of races lately but she drops back into much easier company and the horses who have been beating her are stacking up some good early season form.
