Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

When he mentioned using roll ups to get a horse for the triumph onside at 5-1 (in September ) I nearly bit.
            But it’s not my money.
Safe to say it’s a fucking stupid idea though IMO

Bite away, why is increasing the price of a horse such a bad thing IYO? The only time that price increases is at the DRF. The money is well down on him so there must be something in it, sounds like that is his his first opportunity to be beaten. If that is the likely winner, i want a slice.

I won't tell you what i have done with State Man then which ive managed to bump up to 28/1

                You’ve not increased his price.

We’ll see what happens with his price as the season progresses. You seem certain about his price trajectory so good luck.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting a slice but usually it’s best not to overpay for it because as at odds of 5-1 means 5 of the 6 slices will offer as much nutritional value as dogshit.

Which is what his price is right now.

Oh there is no doubt about that. The price is terrible. It's got all the hallmarks of Mr. Policeman from last year but it could be a Sir Gino at the same time. I have a strategy of getting horses onside at inflated prices using flat horses and football. I hate missing the boat. I sat around and missed out on Corbett's Cross last year when i should have done exactly what i do. I ended up putting £40 on him on the day at 11/4 and i hate betting like that. I did have an E/W on Embassy Gardens at 33/1 i carried all season so the result was good in the end. I have a £20 limit on Cheltenham horses usually which i have broken a lot this season as it happens because i am planning on going out swinging on my last betting fez so i want to be on as early as humanly possible to make sure that £20 pays me the maximum amount. I have missed WDH but i will find a way of catching it up.

                  • Hi all, I've been a longtime lurker and after a couple attempts normally while sat at preview evenings and a few pints deep thinking I finally have some information to share you guys might find useful I've took the leap and registered. The festival has been part of my life from being a kid my old man is a massive fan and I used to get at least one day off school to watch my one point place pot each year. Anyway go easy on me, I'm in the Salvator Mundi for the Supreme camp this year hoping I get the Mullins Bingo correct.

…welcome Matey, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it more being involved in discussions and you’ll now have access to the diary section, there’s some terrific reference material in there.
