Exactly Lobos, not at 2mile, where's the evidence she wouldn't perform very well at 2. I don't get why your so certain on this and that if anything needs 3mile.
If she was a two miler surely she would have been campaigned at 2 from start of career , find it rather amusing how she being touted without any real solid form at 2 miles.

A lot thought the same about Apple's Jade last year.
Some (at least one person) thought she'd win the Irish Champion by 10 lengths
If they're really good, they will be good at all three trips.
Will just depend to a certain extent on the pace of the race.
If it's slowly run and she is more stamina influenced like connections obviously think, then she may be vulnerable to a horse like Sharjah.
But even then, she looks like she has the class to cope IMO.

I suppose there's not many all Mares races over 2 miles but I agree with your point. To me, the way she travels, jumps, looks and sees out her races she doesn't scream 2 miles. Im sure HDB feels the same but the Irish Churdle falls perfectly timing wise and that's where she's landed. If a suitable race over 2 1/2 miles was in the same day then she would have ran in that.

Well, she probably would have had she not had a setback last season for the MN?

Honeysuckle is proving herself every race at the moment- it's her first season out've novice company + the plan was obviously going to be set at a tilt for the Mares. They probably didn't expect her to have a live chance in a Champion and campaigned her over the trip of the Mares. Also being a pointer, she'll be 100% over further. Doesn't mean she won't be as good over 2m. Many are.

On the forecasted ground I think Sharjah will firmly put her in her place.
If she beats such a good yardstick fair play to her and Champion hurdle defiantly next.

We don't know this. She's just won a G1 in open company. I very much doubt if theres a race of lower grade on the same weekend, that she'd be there instead.

Benie shades it still for me. Not 100% sure how good Apples was the last day.

                          • Great news for Benie backers. One run here should have her cherry ripe for Cheltenham.

                            • Also a nice race for Gardens of Babylon to have a quiet run round.

                              • Interesting Benie and apples turning up tomorrow
PP have adjusted Honeysuckle for Irish Champion Hurdle
However, they have not adjusted the double of Irish/English champion hurdles for Honey
Still 14/1, I had to have a saver just in case
