Price for Arkle and QMCC 22 please anyone?!

...they tend to take those bets down during racing, but I have:

    Shishkin (A) & 2022 CC @ 35-1 17th April with Lads.
    Shishkin (A) & 2022 CC/ Envoi (M) @ 100-1 with Sky 19th April

Shades of that Altior season... I reckon we'll have one big danger from Ireland, from Willie specifically.

Whether it's Elixir D'ainay or Klassical Dream, they'll do well to be more impressive on debut! Of the ones we've seen, Unexcepted and Felix Desjy just set the race up for him!

Bigger challengers (you'd hope) await for Shishkin between now and then so we get some substance, although I'm not sure what there is in England to really trouble him?

It is too early to start declaring him the winner, but he's just gonna win isn't he

I wondered if there was others on here who got on this before it was cut. I backed it at 100/1 or something like that and posted it in the Skybets thread over the summer.

Saw the other day it’s 14s. Exciting.

I only had a freebet on it but it does add a level of excitement to these early season races

            Fingers crossed.....

very very very early days bet but whether this wins or loses, cheers.

I said to myself when we went into the first lockdown that I wasn’t going to beg antepost until the summer. Wanted to back Shishkin and Envoi but was not willing to back before the summer. And then I saw your 41/1 double. I may have missed it and got abit shorter than that - somewhere in my diary (34/1 I think) - but would likely have waited and ended up on a much shorter price had i not been tempted to ignore my own advice back in April ish

I think 90% of the forum has the double and frankly, they’ve both looked superb over a fence as hoped. Everyone now must just cross everything that they both get to the track in March. That’s the biggest danger imo.. non runner.

Same here. Expect they’ll run at least 4 more times each. I’m gonna take a guess and say:

Envoi - Drinmore.. something at Christmas or Dublin Festival, Marsh and Punchestown

Shishkin - Henry 8th, Something late December/early January, Arkle and Aintree/Sandown (potentially)

There won't be many that bet ante post, off the forum, that aren't on the same double to be fair. It gets no points for originality but it's exciting all the same.

Forum versus charlie so far. Like Titanic ploughing into a little kayak....... let's hope there are no icebergs though on the long journey !!!

Well yes of course. But my point is had i not seen your post, I’d have been able to resist until the summer and missed the prices. Your comparison with Altior and Yorkhill and the specific price mention of 41/1 eventually threw me over the edge

Agree with this. Flogas a potential for Envoi?

I'm on at 100/1 as well, it's messing around at Punchestown that worries me for this. Graveyard that place

Ah I see, Happy to help haha.

Wish I'd been quicker with the 'to remain unbeaten' ones looking at those prices. I think I was actually AGAINST them when someone put them up. Not looking so clever now

Well, you're just looking for him to get round, but yeeze, his jumping was impressive. Proper slick and low

Easy to lay off if you got to that stage though, he'd be odds on and you'd be waiting on 100/1 returns...

It was just a really good school round though wasn't it ?
The opposition are going to run scared. He's just going to have a procession every time he races.
He's beaten the square root of nothing in that race just then.
It remains to be seen what his jumping will be like when he's got someone upsides exerting pressure.
Not sure he'll be able to jump like that in softer ground, he might need it on the better side.
I'd want to see him against proper grade one animals before I think he's the next sprinter sacre.

I've just been possessed by the resident Grouch.

I backed the double early and was 'stupid' enough to go in again this morning and throw another 4 Pts at it. Thought Shishkin would be cut in the betting but not like that . I think the performance warranted it though to be fair. Where do we think Shiskin will have his prep?
