Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Hopefully the move will be of benefit to Apples Jade and Blow By Blow.

    • I don't think the wellbeing of blow by blow will be effected in any positive way by the switch from Mullins, if blow by blow is going to be a top novice hurdler then Willie would have treated him like one and probably couldn't have been in better hands, mullins is fantastic with his hurdlers for all owners

      • Agree with that regarding Blow by Blow. As good a trainer as Elliott, HDB etc are there's no better than Willie especially regarding hurdlers. I'd say the likes of Blow by Blow and Apples Jade would have been in better hands with Willie. His record with 2m hurdlers and also novice/young hurdlers is outstanding.

Though some of the chasers, specifically staying chasers like Don Poli and Valseur Lido I think could benefit from the switch.

        • Don't worry about wee Gordon, he could teach a bicycle to jump a hurdle.

          • I would hardly recognise Elliott as wee, agree with you Jono that he will definitely progress any staying chasers if there's any improvement left in them, but Willie definitely the best with the hurdlers

            • Tough call as to whether Mullins or Hendo the best trainer of hurdlers ? No one else close imo.

Nicholls is the best trainer of chasers. Could cite loads of horses but he got Dodging Bullets to win the champion chase. Case closed.

              • Still for me I don't even think hendo would lay a glove on Willie and his novice hurdlers, Willie can train loads of novices up to be and who are good enough, with hendo you always find he has just one, hendo for me generally a good all round trainer but doesn't really excel in one particular area of the game, definitely Nicholls for chasing though you can not even begin to question that the man is a genius with them from the handicappers to the grade ones, just superb!!

                • Willie has recency bias in most head to head assessments. Hendo doing it since the 80s. Both have had support of wealthy owners and seem to have an eye for great hurdlers.

                  • Positive mention for Yorkhill and Invitation Only by Wylie in the RP..

                    • What did he say Rowebot? IO is a very exciting novice hurdler for me

                      • That he was this years most exciting young prospect to go novice hurdling. Also confirmed Yorkhill goes novice chasing.

                            • Sorry Mayo but I honesty can't see any way Thistle goes for the RSA.. Surely if he jumps well enough it's the big one.. Any little niggly doubts they'll come back to the world hurdle.. I think twister sees the RSA as a waste of a season.. I know a lot of people think 8/1 is a decent bit of value but remember Cue Card shares the same stable.. If he's as good as he was last year NTD might switch Thistle with the view of winning both races
