Winners of selected trials will get the chance to boost their Randox Grand National first prize by a further £500,000 at Aintree next April.

The three races in which the winners will get the chance to go for the bonus are the William Hill Becher Chase at Aintree, the William Hill Classic Chase at Warwick and the William Hill Grand National Trial at Haydock.

Qualifying races for the 'William Hill Half A Mill' bonus:​

  • William Hill Becher Chase at Aintree (Sat 6 Dec)
  • William Hill Classic Chase at Warwick (Sat 10 Jan)

Need some prayers from my fellow Fat Jockeys (spoiler account related nothing personal)


My bet365 account was compromised, I noticed because my entire balance was wiped out on slots while I was driving to work two weeks ago, raised it with them immediately. My account has been under review ever since and today I got a call saying that it had been recognised as fraudulent activity. My account is being copied / reset with a new email address and the balance is being refunded.

Now the real nerves....I mentioned about my open bets, it was made out as if it's unheard of for someone to have open bets. I'm being told that an email is being sent to me with all my open bets and bet references which I will then have to raise if any are successful. It's been 10 hours since the call and my open bets have been sent through.

Hoping and praying more than half my book doesn't get wiped out!!

I have had a similar situation, also with 365, around 3 months ago

Open bets were cashed out not by me, but monies were not taken from the balance increase

The account was locked by their security dept and the prompt when trying to log in was that I had to speak with them about it.

Initially I thought it was a sneaky way to restrict my account, but no it was genuine and they agreed it wasn’t me who had cashed the bets although they were reticent to elaborate further. They then changed by account - new everything but they couldn’t re set my open bets so instead sent me and email to confirm they were valid and that if they should be successful, then I could claim through using the email they sent to me.

You should be ok HF, although a traumatic issue for sure!

The exact same thing happened to me with bet365 in April, and I had similar concerns on whether I’d be paid out or not for bets that had been cashed out. Thankfully it was just before the National meeting, so I didn’t have to wait long to find out. I just had to reply on the email thread to point out I’d had a winner, and they paid out fairly quickly - they just pay it straight into your bank account, rather than your new account.
 
I had been locked out my bet365 as well and it took forever to get it sorted. Didn’t lose any bets etc though as I currently didn’t have any :ROFLMAO: Said it was a security risk and needed them to phone me to set up new details. Bit strange that few of us have had similar experiences in recent months.
 
This might sound like a stupid question, I thinking of getting a VPN just wondering how it works with using Bet365 as they need to know my current location?

I find in Spain when using 365 it's fine via the browser and just using mobile data. If you start to use WiFi there etc it won't like it.
 
They've duplicated my account with a new email address.

They've sent me every bet I've placed since March 25 and when one wins I need to contact them with the bet reference and they will pay out.

Fair to say the number of pages in that PDF was eye opening!
