Win Today & Festival

Decent little race today. DC will need to be pretty good to beat a former Tote Ebor and Irish St Leger winner in Sonnyboyliston. Plagued with leg troubles but very classy and seemed to enjoy his debut over hurdles.

….Hills;
Davy Crocket & a/r 14-1; Sup 20-1

PP/BFSB & Sky;
Davy Crocket & Sup 20-1

Davy Crockett 1/2 today and 10/1 A/R, which works out 15/1 for the double, however, you can't strike the double, so on the basis Davy Crockett does end up winning, what price do we think his A/R price shortens to, if at all?

It could work out a little bit of value, not loads, of course.

….currently a best 14-1 Sup, bit surprised he’s not listed anywhere for Turners. Maybe he’s only seen as a Supreme type.

If he wins then thems bookies won’t be able to resist the opportunity to cut…cut …cut 😡

If winning then 3/1 AR price stays the same, 1/9 AR 8/1or lower 🤣

Hello again everyone!

1/2 and 8/1 so equivalent of 25/2 double. Any novice hurdle bets at this stage would have to be with the any race backup. Anything out this early you have to be concerned whether they will wind up down the handicap route. Davy Crockett could well be having his third race in the Royal Bond, then just one away from qualifying. Would also be thinking the same with Heads Up, who for a trainer who likes to run his horses and a horse who looks to have a good balance of speed and stamina in his breeding then I wouldn't be surprised at all if come Cheltenham then all options are open to him.
