Who have you missed ?

Wierdly I've just posted about Power Of Pause. Crosshill will surely be one for the Ballymore. No rush to back him yet though.

Jessie did namecheck the AB for him due to connections. Although they also have Stattler as well to muddy the waters.

Thanks lads for the ideas and information, I think I’ll look to get Vahilla & Streets of Doyen on board sooner than later

I’ve been completely blind sided by French Assel, Flooring Porter & Royal Kahala. There odds are too short to back but I’m thinking of getting them involved in roll ups. Do members think they’ve have enough talent & improvement to trouble their market rivals?

French Assel 'could be anything' so certainty of interest but its the Triumph which isn't a race to get too involved in so wouldn't bother me.

Flooring Porter wouldn't interest me at all at the prices , I think he played his hand and rivals under estimated him on prior runs and he took full advantage from drop of the flag jumping off quickly. He had the run of the race as rivals I don't think saw him as a genuine threat which won't happen again

Royal Kahala - again wouldn't interest me at the prices now. Mullins just farms the race and I'd still prefer to be backing Gauloise at 6 then Royal K at 8/10. Wouldn't be surprised to see Hook Up reverse form either

No.

Flooring Porter looks the weakest as it's difficult to believe he'll be allowed the run of the race again, and even then there's the hill.

Royal Kahala has to win a race that Willie wins, and she looks like she needs conditions in her favour also, strong pace and slower ground, and as archies said, they have other options worth more money, and connections being able to be there may also be a factor, but who knows where we'll be in the UK or Ireland with that one.

French Aseel looked very impressive winning a usually decent maiden but this was a surprise due to his flat form, and this race has likely got some other horses yet to enter the fray.

I was lucky to get 25-1 on French Aseel but don't think he's going to win, but they all have a chance I suppose.

Mares Hurdle - Concertista - Probably the one I am most annoyed about, as had her backed (although cashed out fairly quickly) for the Champion Hurdle, it should have been a no brainer to add her for the Mares Hurdle with cash out available. Silly mistake.

Arkle - Allmankind - As my style is to make sort of a book for each race I really should have backed him before his last run, that said, I do think he'll struggle to beat Shishkin anyhow, but it's a hole left in my book for the race currently.

Am I allowed to add Shewearsitwell in here.

I cashed out all my bets on her as I didn’t think it was likely we would see her at the festival - things can change very quickly apparently and now we might see her judging by what was said in the Mares Novice thread :apthy:

I imagine Allmankind doing a St Calvados in the Footpad Arkle, going off in front too quickly and emptying up the hill like he did in the Triumph. My concern would be Shiskin going too early in pursuit and get picked off near the line by someone in behind. I can’t see Allmankind winning unless there is carnage in behind.

Totally agree with what you say about allmankind going off in front too quickly and fading out of it.

Agreed. He doesn't interest me at all for the festival

Appreciate It for the Supreme.... i have a big single for the Ballymore, doubles with Shiskin/Envoi/Epatante/Monksfish/Sir Gerhard/Easysland all at big prices with decent returns... i've accepted the doubles cannot be replicated but i'll probably look to get a decent roll up on a single should he go that way.. even though that will still feel like a loss should he win

Zanahiyr - back him after his previous but one start on the day and didn't even occur to me he could be a Triumph Hurdle contender. Has subsequently wasted 12 points trying to get him rolled up. Probably a sign

a) I won't be backing him more
b) that he'll hose up

Allmankind is 4L clear of Shishkin IMO

Fair play. Get your money on whilst he's still a cracking price. Can't have him at all myself. Shishkin for me with Captain Guinness and Darver Star on better ground his biggest threat.

Hi LOBOS, firstly I like your style. Thanks for the response as I think that most forumites may have blocked me! Never mind I don't care as I'm not looking to be popular. Ive backed Darver Star as well in some multis. BE LUCKY

And the same to you sir .

I can’t find the e/w single I thought I had on Galliard Du Mensil for the Ballymore at 33’s!! I think I cashed it after Holymacapony’s latest flop and forgot to put it back on after GDM bolted up. I’ve been meaning to top up on it and since today’s Up the Ante the price has collapsed!!!! I’m gutted. It’s a kick up the arse to update my diary instead of having to search through online bets for hours on end to see if and when I cashed it.

New horse I need to cover is Galliard Du Mensil for Ballymore!!

The Shiskin / Envoi Allen double.

I haven’t missed it per se, as I do have the double twice. However, even added together I have just 1 point on, returning under 6.5pts...

I must win the Fat Jockey competition for least amount of points back should the Arkle and Marsh go the way that looks most likely....what a :lemo:

I think most people would settle for 6.5pts return ! Don't knock it.
