Weekend Racing

Mathametical sense to back 8 in that case :highly_amused:

Mordin has been a massive market mover. Given good mentions by all the tipsters - Ben Linfoot, Paul Kealy, Frank Hickey all gave it a good word. Gone from 40s to 16s fairly sharpish!

I'm at Chester tomorrow for a friends birthday so was planning to do the majority of my punting there... although I havne't started on Chester yet and I'm 34 pts staked :grumpy:

Rory Delargy napped him in the FFP too at 40's. Unfortunately I didn't listen to it until 10 mins ago. :sorrow:

Were you at Chester on the same day last year Kev? It's still a northern course I haven't been too

Not particularly confident ,.
but have gone for U A E Prince ,Tricorn and Alfarris for the cambridgeshire on sat.

I probably was... they actually had a decent meeting there a couple of weeks back (2 races made it onto ITV)... tomorrow looks below average.

It's a nice course, but I'd only say it is worth going for the marquee "May meeting" - Wed-Fri. It is a nice course, but a long way to go for what is usually a poor/average standard of racing.

I did watch St Nicholas Abbey there live, and famously some Derby/Oaks horses have had a run there...

Wow, good luck with those mayo, 33's and 14's, monster payout for you if it comes off.
I've had an ew double on 2 Sean Bowen rides at Fontwell, Backoftherock in the first and Dream bolt in the 3.20.

I did the stupid thing today , picked out some horses , and then read the r.post , so , Ditched 2 winners at Fontwell
And woodland opera at gowran park. !!!!!!:heart-borken:

I think the Russian hackers are trying to bring down the forum. I must have deleted 100 threads in the last 3 hours. Is there anyway we can block IP addresses or improve things to stop spammers

Like Amoola Gold’s chances in the 4.35 at Uttoxeter tomorrow, he was unlucky to bump into Simply The Betts on his debut over hurdles at the back end of last season, he’s well thought of by the Skeletons and will enjoy the good conditions. 9/4 is fairly skimpy but he should be up to winning this.

Tighten up registration?

I reckon it's Mullins....

Seriously it's a massive irritation, OV is your man and will have the answers.
Kev managed to do something a while back that prevented registration, whatever he did will be wasted on me but if it works we should use....

I think I have managed to ban them for 3 months. Not 100% sure though.

Wish i could help , but I know Nothing about these things , apart from tuning in to F.J :)

I did a big clearout - if admins use the spamomatic option it will block the IP address and delete the multiple spam posts ( its under moderation tools button).

Total pain though.

Chepstow this weekend ...

I've started using that OV. Is there any way we can tighten up the registration, or is that not possible?

I'm away today and racing tomorrow so getting my picks in early.

Stratum is my main bet in the Cesarewitch and have a decent bet on him at 17/2 and 8/1. He's in far too many multiples as well.

The other that catches my eye is Cliffs of Dover. I thought he ran an eye catching race at Doncaster, where he raced wide throughout and stayed on nicely over a trip that is too short for him. He has a good draw, the step up in trip will suit, as will the ground. NH trainers also have a decent record in this. It's a left field selection and hopefully he goes completely under the radar and is priced up at 40/1+.

Small change made to registration process with a question that any jumps fan should be able to answer now added.
