I'm in northern England and the town will be like a zombie apocalypse by 4pm with all the drunks staggering about.

Just La Bag Au Roi for me tomorrow. There's some decent racing at Ascot but I haven't had chance to go through the card yet.
 
England will deservedly win the RWC by a wide margin tomorrow fellas. If you can’t beat em join em :very_drunk:

No, I can not be confident. I haven't see her in person, I haven't ridden her. Like yourself, you take a look at what you have seen a translate that into an opinion.

It appears that you've taken her last two races, and come to the conclusion that she's burnt out. I thought that too initially, but went back through her form... which is similar to that of Apple Jade's where she's best up to January before going into her 'Cycle', and this may explain Le Bague average performance at Aintree back in April. Prior to this, she's 10 out of 10 between Oct - Dec, then she's 2-2 up to March, following this she's 2 out of 6! How likely this explains her performances during the back end of the season, well... not sure, only time will tell.

Take out Cheltenham, a track I doesn't she like, and take out her runs at Aintree and Punc towards the end of the season... her form reads 11111111111111

Taking the rest of the field... I'm struggling to find anything that I fancy to beat her

Elegant Escape - wants further than this, and had a very tough season, expecting that to have left a mark
Black Corton - Nichols factor, peaked at the start of last season. Not much to offer her
Aso - No more than a very good handicap horse
Ballyoptic - won a terrible race last time out. Lacking in class to win this
Definitely Red - Trainer form is sign high at the moment, but not all concerned about this one repeating last years win

Top Ville Ben - Will set the pace, has great form around her and been running at the track - tracker has targeted this race. Think he'll place well

Out of all of them I'd have to side with Definitely Red to be the main danger but would be greatly disappointed if that beat a horse who I feel could run very very well in the KG

We both have opinions, for me I like to stick to mine and learn the hard way. If I'm wrong, then oh well... learn from it and move on.

At 5/1, I'm happy with that. If she wins... and wins well... then I'm happy with my bet for the KG. She could be a donkey this weekend... which means, bye bye to both bets but thats gambling for ya

I hope we're right but I still think she'll be out classed in a King George.

You'll (hopefully) get 8 weeks of me worrying about that 40/1 double before we find out after she wins tomorrow.

Managed to grab some 5/1 LBAR earlier in the week.

A couple of Tom Lacey bets for me today:

Dorking Boy 14/1 ew
Flashing Glance 22/1 ew

Thrown a few quid on England to win first half, and also backed under 36.5 points.

Ok, so yeah, I always get sucked into these novices from the previous year....
No bet Delta Work, was a difficult race.

Now I'm doubting my LBAR bet today. Weaker opposition I know but still... how good are these 3 mile novices from last year?! I think LBAR and with LIT running tomorrow we'll know very very soon!

You put him up at 5/1, went off 5/2. Keep doing that and you can't fail to make money!
 
Yep was not a bad selection at all.
Not sure Richard Johnson was watching the racing or the puddles he was running in either.
He had 2 rides and stuck to the inside on both and couldn't get them round.
 
Like London buses , had two multi's up yesterday, a L.15 - all winners,.
and a L.31 - 1st and 4 seconds ,The 4 - 2nds all big prices.
Best payday on a saturday for a while.
 
Lostintranslation foot perfect today, jumped beautifully and won very easily as he should. Really excited about seeing him back up to 3m.
 
....just having a first look at next weekends racing and noticed a bit of blue on Oddschecker for Sevenna Star in the November Handicap. Into 20-1 with 365 and SkyBet, but 40-1 available with BF.

Exactly FM, I think the Janika-Siruh Du Lac form is strong, and I came off second best twice at Chelters by favouring Janika.

Believe both will do well this year, so backed Janika at 9/2 last night for today, and Siruh Du Lac at 12/1 for the Bet Victor,

I think Janika could be this years Ryanair Chase improver, he needs to go graded races now as he will be rated (from 162) up to 166+ after today.

Last years first five in the Ryanair were rated 162-169 so he is already in the mix off his expected revised rating.

Siruh Du Lac is a horse that I still think has a load of improvement in him. This might sound a bit wild, but I think he could also be a player in the Ryanair. Granted, it needs a bit of imagination to see it but I've rarely seen a horse jump round Cheltenham as well as he does.
 
When 365 give the extra places in all the less than 8 runner races tomorrow I can see myself puttiong on a Nicholls E/W multiple :very_drunk:



Danse Idol, If You Say Run, Grand Sancy and Present Man probably.... if the "3 places" are still reasonable.
