Ascot
14:25 - Calipto
15:00 - Jenkins & Dolos
15:35 - Dark Flame & Fourth Act

Ayr
15:20 - Mount Mews

Wetherby

14:05 - La Bague Au Roi

Down Royal
15:05 - Disko
15:40 - Poormans Hill

Also have a treble on Mount Mews, La Bague Au Roi and Disko
and an ew double on Calipto and Jenkins

Leaving the 2 big races alone today...

The Charlie Hall is a watching brief for me. Definitely Red makes most appeal as I just can't back either of the top 2 with any conviction on their debut run but not enough to have a bet.

I hope Our Duke wins but I have a feeling Road to Respect may spring a surprise at the trip.

Also got Highland Reel in America tonight.

Would love to see him win. Wish I had stronger feelings today but actually think, at a price, Cotai Glory, is interesting in the Turf Sprint. Rhododendron must have a good chance and the American's won't hear of defeat for Unique Bella and Drefong; although with Baffert's horses not running so well the latter may be worth opposing with Imperial Hint

As its sunday ! , L.31 - 1. - Solstice star 1-30 - carlisle
2. - Robin des foret 1-40 - cork
3. - Templeross 2-30 - carlisle
4. - Jury duty 2-40 - cork
5. - Waiting patiently 3-35 - carlisle . good luck if your'e having a punt.

A very poor ride from Ryan Moore. Of course he was interviewed after winning on DeclarationofPeace yesterday and he hated that, so it might explain this ride and the one he gave to Rhododendron.

I keep hearing from the media this fella is a horseman genius but he throws in some horrible rides sometimes, I thought his ride on Happily was another poor one...

G'day Cobbers ! , I'll be blowing the froth off a couple of cold tinnies tommorrow , if Rekindling wins the Melbourne bloody cup !

I think I see him give more bad rides than any other jockey....but that is probably because he is the most high profile so I see it more often.

Apart from Daryl Jacob, obviously. :highly_amused:

No bet for me.... but I will be cheering on the Mullins trio!

All this talk about Aidan O'Brien the best in the world...not even the best trainer in Ireland :devilish:

I had Max 2 years ago so I've had to go in again. PP going 1/5 odds first 6. Also think that Tiberian is a decent horse (2 wins over Talismanic look half decent now) with a decent jockey so has an ew chance of overcoming the bad draw.

That's a painful reminder. I still haven't forgiven Frankie. No bet for me this year but I'll be cheering on the Europeans, particularly Rekindling.

Strewth !!!!, now where's me fozzie's !, . not a bad thing for Joseph o briens Training C.V.

Only 3yo in the field and the only solid trend was to avoid backing any 3yo....

shamefully i can admit , I just saw the board in the shop at Betfred and just picked one out !.

Would anyone believe me if I said I had £1.09 on the forecast? :devilish: - I woke up and day-dreamed about the headline being pretty much exactly what it was.

Not even seen the race yet!

Some achievement though, and Mullins just sensational as well, not long until he cracks this race either!

A brilliant race and the Rekindling did it easily in the end. Well done winners :encouragement:

He's not an ante post play but I'll be backing Southfield Royale of he's declared for the Badger Ales on Saturday. He's very well handicapped on the best of his form and Mulholland has a good record in this race. Added to that, it's the owners local track so I'd imagine he'll be tuned up to do himself justice.

I think horses that go well fresh is a massive factor for the beginning of a season for me, so as explained on the CC Cheltenham thread Charbel will be my only play tomorrow, despite reverting back to hurdles after a solid chase season.

Southfield Royale 14/1 and Charbel 8/1 at Wincanton; Machine Learner 20/1 at Doncaster for me tomorrow.

Good luck all

FM, Where were the 8's for Charbel? I thought I done well getting 9/2, price is collapsing continuously still.
