Triumph Hurdle 2020

I'm lost? A 9L win over Cerbarus?

Was I not watching it properly? :highly_amused:

Well done Charlie :encouragement: and backers.

Im with you Kev! Decent performance no doubt, but was allowed a very soft lead which was always going to be tough to claw back in that ground and Puppy didn't try too hard.

Backers of the winner must be rightfully happy though.

If that doesn’t impress you I don’t know what will. Did he need to win by 20l ?? He went off like a train and finished like a train, couldn’t have done anymore. I think a lot of people are talking with they’re pockets. I didn’t even back the thing !!!!

It did impress me, you said you've never seen anything like it.

You know you're over egging it, right?

Like I’ve said the manner of the win was very impressive. It’s unusual to see a horse go off that hard and finish a race the way he did

I was more impressed with Aspire Tower yesterday tbh.

Using Cerbarus form line with A wave of the Sea and then yesterdays winner Aspire Tower then a strict line would put the last named some way ahead by some margin.

The first three in betting all winning from the front should make an interesting Triumph.

Monte Cristo is Double greens best juvenile this season and the rest are no great shakes apparently.

QUOTES: Allmankind is a bit one dimensional as you cannot ride him any other way and when he first came to the yard I did not think he had the edge for jumping but he loves it. I suppose something like the Victor Ludorum at Haydock or a trip to Leopardstown for a Grade 1 hurdle might be on the cards for him next -Dan Skelton, trainer.

Listening to mark Howard's ppv I assume. Not gone well so far. The bumper horse that took there eyes out was well beaten. And lamarckise is fine, when he put her along side gypsy island as crocked.

No I was emailed about 4 weeks ago and it said that Monte Cristo was the best and two others that were interesting and both ran within a week and failed miserably an unseatand and a faller when both were beaten at the time, two others have ran since both short prices and I should have layed them if the previous two were the yardstick.

Step forward Rayapour as Ireland's number 1 for this race. Can't be many higher rated flat horses than him that'll run in it surely??

As short as 6/1 now. Racking up the ticks for this

Been told Goshen is better than Botox Has, so they have a line through one of their horses and Allmankind. Makes my decision not to back Allmankind that bit easier and just hope they are bang on
