Triumph Hurdle 2020

Surprised no one has mentioned Tombee du Ciel for this yet. Connections normally like to have a go at the triumph, and sending a good one to the Summit hurdle at Doncaster is a route they usually use. Previously had We have a dream
and Peace an Co run here.

Added at 33/1 Ew, would obviously like to watch a run to gauge how good Tombee is as I’m not sure about the french form, but unfortunately don’t have that luxury with bookies quick to cut prices.

Hopefully she wins impressively

Any news on Fujimoto Flyer ? Forgotten all about her.

I did, on Page 6, only a small bit though, as there were and still are a few from France that are of interest that haven't been out yet.

Safe to say I’ve quickly cashed out for half my stake, difficult to take any positives from that run

Allmankind’s form has taken a decent boost this weekend with both the 2nd and 3rd winning well at Cheltenham

I backed Allmankind at 20/1 for Triumph today after the form was franked.

He hadn't moved in price since his win four weeks ago, but he is being cut now. I like the trainers ability to target handicap hurdles and really liked his plan when talking in the winners enclosure in November, to not run until the Festival four months later. He absolutely is capable of producing a horse to win a big hurdle race off a break, and he told us the plan for this horse. Probably wanted to give him a rest after running on the flat then two hurdle runs.

He was put up as the ante post selection by Stu Williams which probably accounts for the price movement. Still 20s at 365.

French experts ... save me some time will you, are we backing this nag or not :highly_amused:

By no means an expert opinion, I'll leave that title to Scooby, but a line through High King whom Solo stuffed then you'd have to be pretty keen on him, that one has form with Chaptal, who won a G3, beating Garfield who is highly thought of.

PNF is likely to get plenty of improvement also, having only had two starts, so don't see why he couldn't be an option for the race.

I presume he'll be getting gelded so won't be seen for a while?

Would deffinately think so, I'll ask.

It's good form. But I'm pretty sure they regret rushing pic d'orhy and they're in the exact same position. So maybe the long game.

And the french crop this year wouldnt look world beaters to me, I'd fancy Willie's chances of raiding auteuil after Cheltenham/ punchestown.

Speaking of Pic - any news on plans? I see he fell in France recently. Cheers

I can ask when I get a reply about the other horse.

Assuming they'll have to go slow now and build back up.

Is it the fella on twitter bets mate or whatever you ask? Always wondered who he actually is to be connected

I've PM'd someone who'll know.

But the guy on twitter publically is a family member of the de la heys.

Solo is 25/1 with Bet365

Anyone know anything about Echoes In Rain?

Seems to be Willie's only juvenile entry over xmas period and he's in the graded race, 50s are available at the moment
