Triumph Hurdle 2019

Have you backed Fret?

Haven't done Farid yet, but might just in case todays hoses up.

Also I better mention on farid that the owner comes up as Mr Walter B Connors. That's the man who sourced and owned don Cossack prior to selling to giggingstown. So whether he's sold to JP and it's not updated I'm not sure. JP has bought the last 2 winners of that race in espoir d'allen and defi de seuil. And every other place says JP owns him. So we'll see .

It dosent bother me personally but some like certain owners.

According to the Mark Howard November update it is JP i think who does own him...

JP owns him alright.

That horse today is into 7/4, 7/1 would sure look huge now.

I'm suprised how many people pay for stuff like that, a good few people have mentioned his email service on here. Haven't got a clue what it entails but must be fruitful . Iv personally never found anything in his books that you can't find yourself. Just an easier read

I literally buy the book as i fly a good bit and i quite like to read about horses, it's cheap. This year i added the updates on it was like 20quid extra, i probably wont do it again tbh...

That solved that
Farid entered up for Saturday at fairyhouse

Nice pick up again Scooby, he seemed to wonder around a bit in the final straight, but closed round the bend well, would think there is a bit more there and with Farid getting an entry I’m going to have 1U on it.

Thanks delighted with that

Looks a chaser old Fresno all day long. Hard to look impressive in a finish coming up that hill though. But I think he's nice enough.

Looking forward to Saturday I think fret d'estruval beats quel destin and cracker factory. Skeltons horse protektorat represents the form of farid as does Fresno emery tomorrow.

Looks like FD & cracker factory will be kept apart as both dual entered. Jacob has been jocked up on Cracker Factory so chances are that FD goes to Donny? Billy’s have a book on the Cheltenham contest but it looks a dangerous play at the mo?

I wouldn't back antepost. Wherever he goes. He's a good bit better than cracker factory imo.
Just back him for the triumph itself at 40s with 365.

Scooby - you’ve certainly got this race covered. Looking at your antepost list you could have up to 10 running for you.
What’s your plan, to lay some off closer to the time at much reduced prices or enjoy getting the 1-2-3?

I want to add my thanks for your generosity in sharing your thoughts as they make compelling reading.
Do you tend to back all your selections to the same stakes or are there some you’re more confident about than others?
I know you said you stand to win a lot more on some selections but wasn’t sure if that’s because of the better odds you’d obtained.

I followed you in on Adjali, so will hopefully join those buying you a pint in March :very_drunk:

Deffinately not same stakes. My stakes for what it's worth goes adjali then fret d'estruval.
I'll cash as I go along . I'll take the big price when iv added them, then I'll let people back before debut so they shorten up. If the horse then bombs (shouldnt as iv done full research) he'll be pushed out to what price he was and I can cash for money back.

Iv 5
Adjali 33/1 EW 25/1 EW 20s any race
Style de vole 33/1
Fret d'estruval 40/1 EW
Lamarckise 50/1 EW
Farid 33/1 EW

Style de vole I plan to cash. . If they place him cleverly he could win a couple then I'll cash him when he's short . He can't put it together like adjali or fret destruval imo. Who have far more experiance and are complete naturals over an obstacle.

The other 4 I plan to keep.

And going for the EW 1 2 3
