Triumph Hurdle 2019

Just need him to turn up fit and well now :)

I have added him again at 10/1 NRNB £20 Skybet offer money back as cash if he loses.

I have to think Pic D'orhy is fit and well.
Sea of blue today (maybe because of Fusil out and Fakir Supreme bound)
Harry Derham has given him not 1 but 2 shout outs on the FFP (he has historically tipped well)
PN tweeting Bryony schooling Pic D'Orhy shows he is sound and well
PN submitted Pic as an exciting one to his to follow out of 3 in the Festival Magazine.
Harry Derham instantly liked a tweet of mine saying 'is he a machine'
PN keeps mentioning him! He wouldn't be doing this without reason.

On top of what connections are saying, Scooby has served up his French form on a platter for those on here to feast off. I don't think we can take the 17l smashing of Fakir too literally because of the way the race was run, but his graded french form is better than anything in this field and he runs for a trainer who has won this twice before. The rivals are dropping away and he is still a double figure NRNB price

I have to agree Charlie.

You would have to go against Sir Erec at the prices now, and you would be pretty hopeful that Pic D'Orhy is better than Quel Destin. QD has been a solid horse for PN this season, has raced a lot, and won a lot too, it also gives Nicholls a lovely line against the rest of the British contingent and it may be a case that Sir Erec is a tool, but he won't have come up against anything like Pic D'Orhy yet.

Guys a quick query re Fusil Raffles. Having backed FR at 60s on Betfair exchange I then laid him for 7s immediately after the race before any mention of an injury. Much to my surprise Betfair has debited my account this morning with the lay proceeds. Surely this isn't allowed is it.

I'll be waiting till closer the time with the Sky offer for the others I think, but Pic is such an obvious shortener in the market once Fakir comes out and everyone realises Quel Destin is the second fav...

In.

Pic has an entry at Kelso on sat.

Not just any old entry either - it's a 50k Grade 2 race.

PN has also entered Southfield Stone and Getaway Trump in the same race. Saw also he's entered Black Corton elsewhere on the card, amongst others scattered through other races.

Would rather he didn't run if he's ready. Would be a quick turnaround.

I kind of feel that way. If he doesn't run hopefully Paul will update people and commit fully to this

Sorry lads Dream Du Grand Val wins that race ;-)

Would be he just won by 14L.

Nice enough on debut, but that race wouldn't be in the same county as a Triumph. Full of horses with patchy form. Couldn't have done anymore himself though.

Bolts up by 38 lengths and Paul decides to save him for Aintree :very_drunk:

Adjali - he is Bang on course for the Triumph , I don't know what happened with him last time -,
That wasn't him " but that was a good piece of work this morning .
Countister couldn't get to him and she's been working well of late . Nicky 30 minutes ago

Imagine if Adjali wins it after all the slating Scooby took on here, be some roar from me if he’s anywhere near at the last!
