this week's entries

If he's ready to go, then yeah, I'd say so, if not then Haiti Couleurs is race fit and could take it instead.
Handstands could be his main danger I reckon.

12.32 on Saturday at Punchestown is a fair old beginners chase.

Not deep enough for The Pig this year. Grey Dawnings to Lose?
Two outsiders against the field for me….….both second season chasers that may improve to G1/G2 open company level

Hoping Handstands and Jango Baie this weekend both uphold the English novice Chase form from last year and both make it to top level in open company this season

Indulto Rouge goes today for the 4yo P2P list in the bumper at Hereford. He looked a sharp enough type to be able to cope with bumpers so hopefully he'll go well.

Vanderpoel needs to redeem himself at Lingfield on Thursday. He's up in trip to 2m4f but it's another trappy race for him.

Mossy Fen Road goes in the 2m novices hurdle at Lingfield. Young Harry has done well with his novices hurdlers this season so hopefully he'll put up a decent performance. He's up against the enigmatic Mondo Man so who knows what form he'll turn up in.

Another deep beginners chase at Fairyhouse on Saturday!

They all look like graded races from over here in the UK.
And ours are fucking walkover's or duels :ROFLMAO:
Yeah - the program and trainers ambition to take on decent horses has to be admired.

Jonbon is in the Tingle Creek. Think there was some discussion somewhere that he might not go. Il Etait Temps and Leau De Sud also in so should be a decent little race... Quality over quantity like.

Regent’s Stroll, declared in a match with Jeriko Du Reponet at Wincanton on Tuesday, has been left in in a three-runner contest at Newbury 24 hours later.

Paul Nicholls’ charge finished third behind Wendigo on his chasing debut at Newbury last month and will be stepping back up in trip wherever he turns up.

Should that be in the PricedUp The Jumps 'Chasing Excellence' Beginners' Chase on Tuesday it’s to two-and-a-half miles and he’s a stone clear of his rival on Timeform weight-adjusted ratings.

However if he defects and waits 24 hours for the J M Finn 'Chasing Excellence' Beginners' Chase in Berkshire then there’ll be a walkover to open the Wincanton Tuesday card.

The Newbury contest could easily turn into a match too with Jig’s Forge and Lucky Place the only other declarations. That race is over two miles six furlongs with Regent’s Stroll six pounds clear of Lucky Place with Timeform. Both have the ‘p’ symbol indicating they are likely to improve after only start over fences.

The paltry field sizes continues the theme of the ‘Chasing Excellence” series in recent weeks.

Place De La Nation got a couple of entries over Christmas. 2m 4f mares grade 3 at Leopardstown 29/12 and 2m mares hurdle at Fairyhouse on NYD. I'm keeping the faith with her for the Mares Novice despite being a bit disappointing when winning last time. Still widely available at 25s...

I am. 25/1 looks good value to me, and I have a fancy that she’ll improve a fair bit after her season opener.

Aye, hoping she comes on for the run. And a shorter trip/ faster pace suits better as well.

Convinced myself something isn't right with Venusienne who was my other fancy as well. So going back in on Place De La Nation.

And still no entry for Fou de Toi, I'd say he's a gonner personally

Just noticed an entry for The Reverend on saturday 12-35 . Mdn hdl. .. cork.

Matata could be a lively outsider for each way money in the Ryanair in a field that looks sure to cut up a lot. He was very impressive upped in trip last week.

Hoping Nicholls enters Kalif in the Champion Chase - keep that particular slip alive.

Been two months since the Exeter disappointment, not heard anything for a while now about plans..

Running over 2 1/2 next time. The girl who rides him says he feels more like a stayer now
