He is getting pelters on Twitter. I watched an interview he did on Aussie TV and found myself agreeing with almost everything he said. The Aussies won't have a bad word said about Winx.

Before the race I thought I'd get my stake back at the very least if he disappointed because he'd be balloted out. This was the one scenario I didn't envisage. Cost me just under £400 when I account for multiples, but that's the way things have been going of late.

That is rubbish... I don't think you can be harsh on yourself though, bad runs come to an end the same as good runs do!

Hopefully Winx gets turned over for starters

At Oddschecker today - if you'd had £20 and rolled it over every time Winx ran and won -27 times .
You'd be a Millionaire Rodney . !!!! ., And breaking news , Latrobe to go for a

That's remarkable!

It's an incredible run, regardless of what she's beating, any horse to have 27 wins is remarkable.

remember a similar stat around Big Bucks.
what was remarkable about that was I tried get him beat nearly every time, proper kidder that horse was.

needs two to come out as far as I can see.
5th last year
almost certain they had this in mind all year
was drawn 19 last year and finished best of any horse drawn outside 1-5
was in rear turning in.
should run off similar weight if not a pound or two less
Just too big a price with only two to drop out.
If he gets a better draw ??

Found an article online - Herald sun . Aussie Trainers Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott could have three runners in the
Melbourne Cup , Thinkin Big - favourite in the Victorian Derby on Saturday.
Runaway and Northwest passage - running in the Hotham handicap.
 
Duretto ruled out so just one more needed for Nakeeta?

they're looking at it.
think there's a couple of other races before saturday where something could jump up the list' but it's unlikely.
and I've read that the horse in 24th spot could be dropped also.
Apparently a committee (VRC) meet to decide the final field.
we'll find out saturday.

Do like Yucatan @ 9-2, think he is a worthy market leader. Win bet

At bigger odds think Avilius at 14-1 appeals each way

Yep, a bit of hokey cokey but he's in.
And drawn 3, which is not perfect but miles better than 19.
Yucatan in 23 not great for him.
