Supreme Novices Hurdle 2020

What the ******* **** happened since Wednesday?

Has Shishkin been out again and won a grade 1?

It's only Friday?!

2 days and he's gone from 14s to 7s after the race?

I haven't read the last few pages yet but I cannot believe my eyes.

That is absolutely ridiculous.

Crazy stuff. Think punters were desperate for an alternative to Aba and he is it ! Glad I'm on at big prices on the back of FJ posts. Happy dayz.

Impressive the last day but 7/1 no thanks value gone he’s only won a class 4 novice hurdle! I’m on at 25/1 and very happy with that, it is looking as though fiddler is going for the ballymore which is another reason for the move. I think chantry house and Shiskin both come here which will be very interesting and can see them being the English flag bearers.

Shishkin best summed up as a shit price for a potentially decent horse. When you look back at what some of the other 7/1 supreme shots have achieved it makes his price even more ridiculous. Summerville Boy won at 9/1 on the day and he went into the race as a grade 1 winner. I hope he’s the real deal cause I have the fancy prices but 6/1 in places, don’t make me laugh

If Shiskin wins Grade 2 Dovecote, god help us all.

I’d love him to smash it

Yeah, wouldn't bother me if he did either. Think he's my 3rd or 4th biggest winner, so a bit happier now I have the top two in the betting (currently) covered.

Listening to trainer of Edwardstone wouldn't be surprised if they give him an easy race tomorrow, get a good mark and head down HCP route.

Rossington Main Winners:

2019 - Mister Fisher (beat Bright Forecast)
2018 - First Flow (beat Midnight Shadow)
2017 - Neon Wolf :love_heart: (beat Elgin)
2016 - Its'afreebe (beat Le Prezien)
2015 - Aso (beat Kiama Bay)
2014 - Zamdy Man (beat Un Temp Pour Tout)
2013 - No race
2012 - Cinders and Ashes (beat Double Ross)
2011 - No Race
2010 - Peddlers Cross (beat Scriptwriter)

Put's me off Edwardstones chances a bit :(

Agree, don't like him at all. Not backed him. No real reason I can come up with other than my gut which is currently huge.

I backed him as Fiddleontheroof won as I knew I'd be likely to beat the SP and it'd become a bit of a 'hipsters' kind of bet on the preview circuit ... but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a bit busted after tomorrow.

Could easily end up a Ballymore trial too, 2m in heavy at Haydock, and plenty of Ballymore runners listed in the list I just made too....

I don’t think that thebannerkingrebel has put a foot wrong yet(apart from when he literally did and slipped before putting a race to bed)

The form is maybe not stacking up like others but he is eased at the finish in them all and everything seems to be 5+ lengths at that.

2nd in the Aintree Bumper aswell which typically produces some smart horses

I agree. And I’ve backed him tomorrow

The Bannerkingrebel now clear favourite today; surely wouldn’t be good enough to win a Supreme but I was at Haydock when he won lto and was very impressive

Hills have him at 40/1 to win this and the supreme

I already have him for the Supreme but if I didn’t would fancy a bit of it

Very strange price move.
One's dad is Kayf Tara
One's is Arakan.

Edwardstone is an excellent bet at 15/8. 6pts for me.

thebannerkingrebel for me and on at 7/1 today, 18/1 for the Betfair and 40/1 for the Supreme. Reminds me of the racing profile of Cinders and Ashes (2012) really good bumper form including at Aintree, hopefully can go and win the Rossington today and go on to Cheltenham via taking the betfair. Dreams I know but keeps the spirit alive.
