Supreme Novices 2018

As low as 16/1 for the Ballymore, but PP unmoved at 33/1.

Real steel.
(3:56.3*19.62 secs faster*on today's going*)*

Interview in full.

Mullins said, "He jumped a bit big early on but once he got the hang of the Irish hurdles, he was slick. He was lucky enough to get a run through on the inside (at the third last) when the leader was hanging off the rails.

"I thought two miles would be fine for him but Paul said he'd like to step him go up in trip so we'll see what presents itself. After that first bit of experience, he'll be a lot sharper over two miles the next time.

"It was a tough race and either of the two (also runner Daly Tiger) could have won any maiden hurdle this week. It was unfortunate they met - for Noel's (Meade) sake anyway!"

4 seconds faster than Petit Mouchoir ran in the same race 2 years ago appar (and on worse ground today).

Nothing to do with the time. But I think the front 2 could be very good. But I'll have to wait for some substance to see just how good.

Looked a nice run from real steel and the comments seem to think both are decent.

Anyone have the list of all the novice hurdlers those connections have with Willie? (And actually is there a website to find this information more generally that anyone knows... like 'all horses owned by X')

I have the list if them all.

The personal way I get them is of horse racing ireland registrations page . I will write out when I have the time.
Small sample

Juveniles
chante neige
Stormy ireland.

Mares (novices)
Don't hesitate
Cut the mustard
Holiday winner

Them plus real steel would be the most exciting ones (for me anyway) on French form.
They are all with Willie.

Interesting race in Newbury today. Have my eye on simply the betts and have taken some of the 66s on offer with bet365

Thanks mate. This should be more easily accessible though than having to do it yourself!

Black op for me. But not a bet in the race today.

Claimamtakinforgan looks pretty good now on the back of lost in translations run. Deffinately will be keeping my eye on him at the weekend.

Desperate run from World Premier, nice boost for Claimantakinforgan. Think Claimantakinforgan will only improve as well, tempting to go back in, still 33s

Hes not declared at the weekend. But should be out again soon.iv got him covered at 3 figures but I wouldn't knock 33s

Just came in to ask about Claimantakinforgan still being value at 33. Hadn't played myself but will add now before next run.

Love Henderson's record in getting horses placed in the race So will have 1pt ew... unless anyone thinks this isn't the target

He could definitely go further, and you could make the case for Pym being the more likely Supreme candidate. However, Henderson often throws a couple at this and all comments i've read this season speak of him being a 2 miler

Before he ran, I said I thought he'd need further based on his bumper performances. Now he's ran over hurdles and against what may prove a decent yardstick, I might be converted to this being his race. Pym is still my only selection for his race in any of my multiples though.... although he seems to be still schooling :highly_amused:

It looks like the target to me Kev. The bumper form standing up well. Ive taken the 33s to go with Red Jack & Samcro.

Bit of a drift on Red Jack with PP for this weekend. Nice to see Mengli shortening.

Forgot to add, they've noticeably shortened Le Richebourg as if they've had the nod from JP which is his best chance!

Good enough for me.

Jockey booking suggests that too!
