Supreme Novice Hurdle 2019

Charlie Swan put up Champagne Platinum ew for Supreme at Cork. Has there been any other indication he does here ? Nicky seemed to be suggesting Ballymore at the open day.

Nicky was pretty flakey on it by all accounts. I've seen him mention him for both races.

Charlie Swann only tipped up JP horses didn't he?

Haha :triumphant:

Who is the best ew bet between Elixir De Nutz and Aramon

Mister Fisher? Has similar rating to these two & despite being green on some of his starts has managed 2 wins out of 3?

EDN for sure - strikes me that he is this years Summerville Boy; has all the form but just not particularly popular in the market.

Looking at the exchange the last few days I wouldn’t be surprised if AB goes of fav for this now. Certainly a very good chance Dai Walters has the first 2 in the betting

Agree think he will be fav also

Really?

That'd be some move!

I think Al Dancer will be really solid on the day if all is well.

Where have you heard that?

Be an odd switch wouldn't it?

Too much weight in the FW and pointless taking on Sir Erec - was what I was told last night. Not by Joseph O'Brien I hasten to add - but someone who is not without a clue

Don't really matter where it runs does it ?
For a flat racer who raced mainly over 6f to a mile, cheltenham strongly run races are unlikely to be his cup of tea.
But I suppose the supreme would be the speediest option on that course, although the ground will likely be softer also.
Doubt it runs at cheltenham at all.

I’m a complete nohoper when it comes to ground and what is needed to shift it from good to soft, but the fact that it is set to rain every day next week according to my trust iPhone app makes me feel slightly less depressed about Klassical dreams chances of coming here

Welcome to the fan club Charlie, let’s hope for not too much rain his action screams good ground!

It's just the wrong price isn't it. 2nd to Elixir De Nutz giving 5lbs. Jumps well. Beat Grand Sancy who is 12/1 for this. That form looks decent. Under the radar this one
