Another race for Ireland in March :devilish:

Had a bit of the 25s after the last, will end up cashing out though I'd imagine!

10/1 winner and took the 25s. Paisley is on a steep upward curve and could easily be the best of British come March. I'm looking for anything I can take take Penhill on with :devilish:

Just give it to Penhill...

There's some very good horses rhat could come back from chasing and cracking smart who's a very nice horse. I wouldn't give him it yet. And I'm a backer of penhill.

This will always end up a decent race and contenders come from nowhere.

Unless Thistlecrack reverts to hurdles he absolutely will be the best British hope won't he?

Whoever gets beaten in the kauto star could easily revert. Always happens.
And I know Paul would have no issue doing that. Nicky has done it with buveur dair..... there will be w few who fancy there chances after a fall or getting beat over fences.

Every day that passes, the more confident I am that Thistlecrack will run here and win this.

His jumping in the KG will mean they send him here.

I don't think they would from the Kauto Star.

I can't see any horse in the last 5 years that ran in the stayers and I can't be bothered going back further.

Of the possible runners, only really La Bague Au Roi is likely? (and she's not good enough to win it)

No chance Santini, Topofthegame revert even if they lost.

Colin Tizzard?

Put a horse in the race it's most likely to win? :devilish::highly_amused:

Like Scooby says, I'm sure there will be some revertees over coming months. I'd still be keen on PP. He won the Haydock off 147 (vs. Sam Spinner off 139), it's his second season and he looks much more the finished article. He finished like a train there, and again today. He's a proper stayer unlike PENHILL.

On another note, start loading the wheelbarrows for The Machine at Leopardstown....

Topofthegame there deffinately is.

Saphir du rheu A previous one Paul's done it with, Was fav for stayers. Big bucks fell in the hennesy when upsides at the last.

As I suspected looking at the Long Walk Hurdle today you can now discount any from this side of the pond. I wouldn't back anything from England with counterfeit.

Absolute shoe-in for the Irish.

Have to admit BigChaang, often thought that myself re the constant flow of free bets, but it must be possible!

Throwing one in for this that might not even end up running here as he has to jump a level:

Paisley Park- i think he could be this year's version of Sam Spinner, but hopefully he wins in the end haha!

There’s more than one way for a race to cut up Jack... being scared of the opposition was not what I meant. The ground could become pretty testing come Saturday if the forecast is right and whilst CML still has to prove he stays 3 miles, he’ll be more at home in soft/ heavy than most, PP included.

Going well this!

Not yet in the Cheltenham groove, like most of u guys, but I just can't see past penhill, can't think of anything that could give it a race at present. I honestly can't see anything else out there, but agree it's an Irish winner.

I know who Big Bucks are Saphir Du Rheu are you weapon :highly_amused:

If Topofthegame falls, then it'd be similar to Saphir Du Rheu, but even then I really can't see it. The "Big Bucks" factor was hugely influential in the decision to bring SDR back and Topofthegame has a PTP background, where the others we're messing about over in France over hurdles for ages.

Paul Nicholls had grade 1 chasers when he was reverting Big Bucks and Saphir Du Rheu back over hurdles. He doesn't have that luxury now.

My 365 account down to 45p max bet.

Merry Christmas.
