September ‘24 Yankee

Like all of those picks, if that lands we can all 'hopefully' retire :excitement:

I imagine the bookies will sight some bs T&C's against it though.

In the end I came down to Kopek Des Bordes in the Gallaghers, Corbetts Cross for the Ryanair, Langer Dan to continue his superb Cheltenham record, this time in the Stayer’s Hurdle, and getting that value hopefully now locked in the Triumph with Murcia. Some of these will get trimmed if they get positive nods in the Stable Tours.

Kopek Des Bordes, Gallagher Novices’ Hurdle @ 25/1
Corbetts Cross, Ryanair Chase @ 25/1
Langer Dan, Stayers’ Hurdle @ 25/1
Murcia, Triumph Hurdle @ 33/1

Acca 597,583/1 with B365

We had Kopek Des Bordes back in June for the Supreme, although the option was to put him in the Gallaghers if we wanted to, but here he’s in the Gallagher as a first pick.

A lot of the thread discussion was around the Ryanair and it was a close final decision to go with Corbetts against L’Homme Presse and Bravemansgame. His younger age just edged it, with the potential that there is a lot more to come.

Langer Dan was my own pick. Highlighted also by Spectre in his Day 3 video last week. I just worry those bookmakers will not reduce his odds over the winter if the Stayers is the target and it is a race, beyond the favourite, lacking in much depth.

I thought it wise to get Murcia in the book at 33s. Surely it will be a stable tours favourite given the owner/trainer combination.

Good luck everyone, and thanks for the opportunity to do this.

That's how every yankee should look at this time of year! None of that bullshit single figure prices :devilish:

Very much like that one. Might break one of my golden rules and actually do it myself!
