Ryanair 2020

Does someone know can Chacun run here tomorrow? Didn't see the piece on ITv but someone mentioned Ruby said was an option?

No - can only be declared for one Cheltenham race. Once he was in the final entries for the QMCC, the Ryanair was taken off the table

Exactly my thinking as not declared.
Not sure so was just someone in pub said that Ruby had mentioned it - maybe they heard wrong!

Ruby was saying it wasn't an option because of the double declaring rule that came in with the 48 hour decs

If this is a two horse race.... A Plus Tard and Min

Is Min a great bet at 11/8 in the without A Plus Tard market with Sky?

I'm looking at that price, then 40 minutes later Paisley Park, and thinking to myself that I have a double on my hands :highly_amused:

Obviously, you have to ignore last years winner Frodon, and the improving Riders Onthe Storm..... but personally I think Min should be fav for the race over A Plus Tard ... for the difference in price though, taking APT out of the equation may mean I get paid out if I'm wrong and the clash doesn't go my way.

Out of interest, what price was Honeysuckle in the Without Benie Des Dieux market?

I think he could be Kev.

Suppose it depends if you think Frodon can play a part.

I’m sort of staying away from riders after copperhead flopped yesterday, think that ground at ascot might have taken its toll.

Edit - Kealys banker today Min.

Gone in again on Min this morning with the above, 11/8 better odds than some of the others are offering. On at bigger already to place, outright & in multiples too antepost. As I've said previously he's bet of meeting for me, can't see him out of first 3.

Christ on yesterday's results he'd have probs. won the Queen Mother too.

Jeez. Gone in on this 4pts. Will see how race 1 goes but can see myself getting bold with this one if all goes well.

Think Min might be ridden very prominent, They almost have to.
Will need to be very well judged, and he cannot afford to do too many of those massive leg sprawling leaps he does or they'll swamp him.
Looks a good race tactically
A Plus Tard the least likely to be bothered either way.
Riders needs to settle and Min making the pace may help with this.
But Riders might need to be special to win if he is too keen again.

Frodon will be in there too very prominent. The race to me suits APT perfectly. From months back i've been in the MIN camp but tactically i'm worried.

To be honest, A Plus Tard at 10/11 in the without Min market on PP is pretty fair as well.

I can't see A Plus Tard out of the first two....

Min I suppose could fold (I just don't think he will)

Going to use it to try and get Goshen in the book. Maybe with Paisley.

The jitters certainly are setting in with Townend on board after his performances so far, Ruby being on wouldn't have worried one bit. Townend owes Ricci & Mullins a big performance after BDD.

After he bangs in Faugheen, Min goes off fav :p

Just been looking at a few of these prices a bit more, if you can't see anything other than Min/APT in the front two then you can back the reverse forecast with PP @2/1, boosted to 9/4 if you can get it... added.

I'll have had a disaster if Frodon or Riders Onthe Storm win this.....

Riders Onthe Storm now available at 12/1 :concern:

Hopefully BOG for anybody that did take him at shorter. He's in the realms of forcing me to go green here.

Has there been anything that ran at Ascot when ROTS won that has ran decently at Cheltenham so far? Big negative for me.

Min getting very close to being fav here.....

15/8 vs 2/1

2.98 vs 3.2

Interesting to see if we have a change in Fav..... I'd very much like to see it!

Great race.. Min jumps superbly, thought he was going to be pipped by St Calvados at the end mind you

Powered up that hill, neeeeeeeever in doubt :highly_amused:

Go on Min :)

I would not have enjoyed one of my favourite horses Saint Kevidos nabbing him :concern:
