Ryanair 2020

Yeah, 100% Douvan and CPS go Champion Chase and Min comes here (even if this is Mullins!).

Impossible to be 100% :p
Decision isn't made yet

I'd agree with that guess though

I reckon Min CC, Chancun Ryanair and Douvan retired.

I'd say the best horse I've ever seen live at the Fez is Dawn Run. She won the Champion Hurdle against the best bunch there ever was and then won the Gold Cup as a novice. It'll never be done again. She'll do for me.

All about opinions but I doubt that the Champion Hurdle field that year is remotely close to being the best there ever was.

As for facts, she didn't win the Gold Cup as a novice. She won her first chase in the 84/85 season and missed the rest of the season through injury. She returned in December 85 and won the 86 Gold Cup.

Either way, her achievement is unique but somehow I never warmed to her or her owner.

Yep, you are quite right. She won the John Durkan in her first race over fences which is some feat in itself and then went wrong. She actually unseated the following year in her prep race in the Cotswold Chase and they decided to give jonjo O'Neil the ride in the GC which didn't go down to well with trainer Paddy Mullins (Willie's Dad) but the rest is history. Only horse ever to do the Churdle/GC double. She was a hardened beast

Or he’s a dodgy keeper and that was the oppositions nickname for him.

Terrible Joke - I’ll leave the forum :highly_amused:

Just catching up, missed the douvan omission as well!

Still 12/1 with 365 for the cc which if he makes it still worth a stab

Brilliant from Frodon there. Treated for Ulcers after first two bad runs and back to best. Happy with my 3, Frodon, APT and Defi. Bryony was brilliant as well.

Defi - surely doesn't run here Lobos?!

If Altior does go Clarence and stuffs Defi then he'll Defi come here !

i'm with lobos.
still a fair chance Defi goes here.
pot hunting over 2 miles then correct trip at festival

Completely agree with this. Don't have Defi as a 2miler myself. Probably won't back for either anyway.
